100% In Grand Theft Auto III
For 100% completion in GTA 3, you must complete pretty much everything the game has to offer. There are 154 essential objectives that contribute to your completion percentage. Each required objective adds precisely 0.6493506494% to your overall progress.
Rewards For 100% Completion
Unlike many other games in the series, there are no rewards for 100% completion in GTA 3. Many of the tasks have their own rewards however, so upon completion, the player can expect to have access to the following benefits:
- Unlimited stamina (aka infinite sprint).
- All weapons, health, body armor, adrenaline and 6 police bribes will spawn outside each of the 3 safe houses.
- Spawn almost any vehicle from the Import/Export garages and special vehicle crane.
- Unlock the Borgnine taxi.
Not Required For 100%
You aren't obligated to do "everything" in the game for 100% completion. There are several side missions and tasks which are optional.
You do not need to do any of the following for 100% completion:
- Deliver Securicars to Portland harbor.
- Increase your Criminal Rating to "Boss" (max level).
- Max out your cash.
- Complete a perfect triple insane stunt bonus.

Import / Export Vehicles
There are 39 required vehicles to collect worth around 25.35% in total.

Completion % is only increased in-game when all emergency vehicles have been delivered to the crane.
