Continuing my quest to update our content for every GTA game before the release of Grand Theft Auto VI, I recently completed another 100% playthrough of GTA III - probably the 30th time I've done it since its original launch on PS2 - and I still love it!
During the process, I've added over 1,400 screenshots, captured from the PS5 Definitive Edition to our image gallery and created or updated over 80 guides and 80 maps!
We have a 100% Checklist which guides you through everything you need to do if you're a completionist like me, and each section contains links to our in-depth guides for each task.

You'll also find extremely detailed story mission guides which provide tips and details to get through each mission, screenshots, details of the cutscenes, their rewards and even a route map so you can see where each mission will take you throughout GTA 3's Liberty City.
They'll help you give the game a good beating...

Collectables and side objectives are covered too with our Hidden Packages, Rampages and Unique Jumps guide & maps.

Struggling to track down the vehicles for the three Import/Export lists? We've got you covered with maps, screenshots and text locations.

There's also detailed walkthroughs for the additional side missions and vehicle sub-missions with details of their locations and rewards.

Don't forget, there's a glitch you can use to get to the other islands right at the start of the game...

Everything else you need can be found in our GTA 3 guides section.
GTA 3 is, in my opinion, one of the best games ever made. It was the first Grand Theft Auto game I played properly and for anyone who was around when it burst onto the scene, it was completely groundbreaking. Nothing had ever given the sense of freedom and carnage before. The Definitive Edition has given it a new lease of life and I definitely recommend playing through it again (or for the first time!?). Bear in mind, the game is almost 25 years old so it doesn't contain all of the modern features you're used to from GTA V, but for its time, it was incredible and set the standard for nearly every open world game that has followed since.
Enjoy a selection of in-game screenshots and stay tuned for more new guides for the classic GTA games coming soon.
