Cholo Victory

Phil uses Vic as a driver while he hunts down a Cholo to drive-by.

Cutscene

Vic enters Phil's warehouse looking for him. While Vic is calling out his name and staring blankly at the wall for some reason, Phil sneaks up on him with a shotgun.

"Put your hands where I can see 'em boy. You think you can come here and rob me? Probably try to rape me? I know your kind..."

Vic tries to remind Phil who he is, Vic, his brother-in-arms, but Phil tells him to take off his pants so he can give him a shotgun suppository. Eventually Vic has enough and pushes the gun out of Phil's arms, causing him to fire off a shot at the ceiling. Eventually Vic gets through to Phil, telling him it's Vic Vance and after a closer inspection, Phil asks him "Vic! Why didn't you say so?" before pulling him in for a hug and trying to squeeze a fart out of him.

After Phil's constant belching, Vic asks if he's been drinking. "What do you think?". Phil tells him they've got to go because he's got something to show him. Despite Vic's concerns, Phil decides he'll drive.

Seconds later we see the two men in the truck as Phil sets off and drives it straight into a wall. "Maybe I should drive, man" say Vic.

Once you're swapped over, you'll be driving and Phil is in the passenger seat. Your objective is to take Phil to the police station, marked by a pink blip, to look for Cholo who Phil wants to drive-by.

Phil talks a load of crap while you're driving to the police station, then when you arrive, park in the pink marker at the front of the station.

Cutscene

The camera zooms out showing the car parked in front of the station as Phil explains he thought for sure a Cholo would be in trouble with the law. Seeing as there's no one there, he suggests they don't hang around because cops make him nervous. "I hear you man" says Vic. "Sometimes I schitz out and kill a lot of them..." Phil continues, before telling Vic he might know another place those damn Cholos might be...

You're now instructed to take Phil to check for Cholos at the hospital, marked by a new pink blip on your radar. It's just up the road to the North.

Drive into the pink marker when you arrive.

Cutscene

Phil is wondering where the Cholos are, then says it's a good thing he brought a little something to drink.

Soon after, a "Cholo bastard" is spotted in front of the hospital. He notices Phil and makes a run for it.

The Cholo gets into a parked car and speeds off.

You're told to drive close to that Cholo so Phil can perform a drive-by. The car is marked with a red blip on the radar and a red arrow above it, so chase after it as it drives through Little Haiti.

You should catch up to it pretty quickly, then give is a slight nudge to spin it out and Phil will empty bullets into it, eventually setting it on fire and killing the Cholo.

You can keep your distance and allow Phil to shoot at the car but crashing into it and getting it stuck in traffic or against a building makes it easier for Phil to aim. He's had a few drinks afterall.

Once the Cholo is dead, Phil explains you're gonna need to get his car fixed up and instructs you to take it to the nearby Pay 'n' Spray. It's marked on the map with a red spray can icon.

Make your way to the Pay 'n' Spray and drive into the pink marker out front.

The game will inform you that parking inside a Pay 'n' Spray will clear your wanted level and repair and respray your vehicle. The charge is usually $100 but this time Phil's paying.

Drive into the garage far enough that the door closes, then when it opens, the car will be fully repaired.

You'll now need to take Phil back to his place, so drive South all the way back to his warehouse in Viceport.

Park in the pink marker when you arrive.

Cutscene

Phil exits the vehicle and walks back towards his depot, telling Vic he's a damn fine wingman and the Cholo will think twice before shitting on his patch from now on.

Mission Passed!

The game will explain that if you have a sub-machine gun you can perform a drive-by. You need to press the relevant button to look to the left or right then press Circle to fire. You'll also receive a pager message from Phil who says his sister's husband Marty has some work for him.

Post-Mission
