Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories Gameplay

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories features the same engine and gameplay mechanics as the previous entries in the series, with numerous improvements and new features. VCS is the first GTA set in Vice City that allows the player to swim, although diving under the water is not possible like it was in San Andreas. It is also the first game to feature a jet ski, a vehicle which was missing even from San Andreas' vast selection of vehicles. VCS has a more in-depth hand-to-hand combat system than the previous games, including grapples and the ability to grab someone from behind and snap their neck. The game also features an Empire Building mode, which is a cross between Vice City's property buying and the gang wars from San Andreas.
