Truth Revealed

As you arrive at the mission start point, you'll see dead bodies scattered around the area. An ominous sign of what's to come...

Walk into the blue circle to start the mission.

Cutscene

Mike	Damn, it's a slaughter. Poor Cisco, you just wanted to sell your drugs in peace and retire with millions in the bank. So much for keeping your carpet clean, my friend. 8-Ball told me not to go vigilante on the world but now I'm taking the gloves off. Anybody and everybody that gets in my way is going down.

After headout out of the plane, Mike spots the assassin escaping in a Diablo.

Cutscene

Mike	Damn, that car's getting away! I'd better take care of this welcoming committee first though.

You'll have 60 seconds to kill about 8 enemy thugs who are coming towards you with various weapons. They shouldn't take more than 20 seconds to blast away with a shotgun.

Cutscene

Mike	I'd better track down that car that got away. Whoever is behind this has got a lot to answer for.

Once they're dead, a 2 minute timer will appear on the screen.

Soon after a car will be spotted heading South-West, marked with a red blip on the radar. Grab a vehicle and chase after it.

You can crash into it and cause damage until it starts smoking, hit it side-on and hopefully flip it over, or just park in front of it and get out, blasting it with a shotgun.

The driver gets out as a cutscene kicks in.

Cutscene

Mike	Vinnie!! I don't believe my eyes. I saw you blow up in your car!
Vinnie	Mike, I've told you before - don't believe everything you see. I'm impressed with you, I wish I didn't have to see you up close one last time.
Mike	Tell me why, Vinnie! Why'd you betray me? I would have done anything for you!
Vinnie	I was in the game too long, Mike. Any morals I had died a long time ago. You're just a dumb, gullible kid. I didn't want to share the money with you, plain and simple.... Goodbye, Mike.

You'll now be involved in a shootout with Vinnie and some of his bodyguards. Ultimately he's the only one you need to worry about. Blast him a couple of times with a shotgun and get his damage bar all of the way down.

Cutscene

Vinnie	Mike! Let's talk about this! I'll split the money with you. Please!! You know you don't have the heart to take me out.
Mike	That's where you're wrong, Vinnie. I'm not that kid you remember me as. I've had to do more despicable things trying to track down your killer that I've become like you Vinnie... like you.
Vinnie	Mike, don't do this! You take me out and every two-bit thug with an eye for quick cash will still come after you! You think you can get away with my money? You'll be dead before you reach the city limits.
Mike	I'll take your money and your life now, scum. You're nothing to me. Goodbye, Vinnie.

Now it's time to finish him. He's on low health, so one more shot should do it for Vinnie.

Cutscene

Mike	He's dead. The only friend I thought I could count on in this God-forsaken city. You betrayed me, Vinnie, and I'll never forgive you for that.

Mission Passed!

After the mission, Mike receives a message from 8-Ball. He's in hiding at an Italian restaurant in Pike Creek and needs to see him urgently.
