PlayStation Blog Confirms GTA III on PSN This Week

After finding out about GTA III coming to Asia PSN, the US PlayStation blog has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto III will finally be coming to PlayStation 2 Classics this week after a delay due to rights issues with a song - let's hope it gets out this time!


The US PlayStation Store updates on Tuesdays so look for it tomorrow, September 25th! The European PSN Store will update the next day on the 26th. We'll be sure to post an update when it's confirmed to be available. It will likely cost $10/£3.19/€3.99/AU$6.95 for the port of the original game.

To repeat part of our previous "re-release" article, those on the Xbox 360 will continue to be disappointed since in an Asked & Answered, Rockstar admitted that "compatibility issues and other technical limitations" are preventing GTA III and VC from coming to the Xbox LIVE Marketplace.
