Unique Jumps
Map, screenshot and text locations of all 36 unique jumps, plus details on their landing locations in GTA Liberty City Stories.
GTA Vice City Stories takes players back to a slightly modified version of GTA Vice City's setting, and the game once again features motorbikes which make the unique jumps much easier to beat. To complete the jumps, the player must hit a ramp at speed and travel a certain distance, landing in a rough target zone. Successfully completing all unique jumps is a requirement towards 100% completion.
It's strongly recommended to use a fast bike to complete all of the jumps. Sergeant Martinez's "Streetfighter" is a good option for most jumps, although a PCJ-600 seems slightly faster and may be a better option for some of the tricker ones (particularly jump #18).
New to GTA Vice City Stories are four water jumps which must be completed in a boat or preferably a jetski.
Completing Unique Jumps
You'll know you're attempting a unique jump as the camera will lock into a cinematic viewpoint and show your jump in slow motion. The game will tell you if you were successful or if you failed when you land.
Tracking Discovered Jumps
Rockstar Games added a very useful, albeit quite hidden feature to GTA Vice City Stories which allows you to view the Balloons, Rampages and Unique Jumps you've already discovered on the map. This is useful so you can cross reference the game with our map to work out which ones you might be missing, without needing to visit every single location in the game again.
To enable the feature, visit the pause menu map and hold down the X button. An extra menu will pop up allowing you to "Show Discovered Extras" which you can toggle through with the Left and Right D-Pad buttons. Once enabled, discovered or completed objectives are marked on the map so you know they can be safely ignored.
Most jumps can be attempted in any vehicle, however they will be much easier on a fast motorbike like the PCJ-600. You won't always need to be traveling at full speed as it's sometimes possible to jump too far and miss the landing zone (or end up in the water and lose your vehicle), but in general you're going to want the fastest bike you can find to ensure it has enough acceleration.
Most jumps can be completed without a completely smooth landing, such as by crashing into something, but generally you should aim to land on your wheels. You'll also want to perfect the skill of leaning slightly forward on the bike by holding the left analog stick forward ever so gently so you can pick up a speed boost. This is particularly helpful for the jumps with short run ups.
Unique Jump Rewards
Each successful jump will award the player with $250. Upon completion of the 30th (PSP) or 36th (PS2) jump, the player will be rewarded with $10,000. It's likely the player will also earn additional 'Insane Stunt Bonuses' while completing the jumps which will offer additional cash rewards.
Unique Jumps Map
Click below to view our unique jump locations map. The numbers correspond with the screenshots and info below. All unique jumps can technically be completed from the start of the game, although you'll need to use an exploit to reach the Eastern island if you want to complete them before playing through a number of story missions first.

Mainland Unique Jumps
There are 22 unique jumps to complete on the starting island and Starfish Island, with 2 of these jumps exclusive to PS2. They are all accessible from the start of the game.
Unique Jump #1
Found in Escobar International Airport, jumping from North-West to South-East. A set of stairs at the side of the Northern most part of the airport.
Landing Target
Clear the wall and the road beyond it, landing on the grass and dirt that follows.
Tips
You need quite a long run up for this one. Try to lean forward on the bike too and wheelie as you hit the ramp. You'll get some serious air if you make a good connection.
Unique Jump #2
Found in Little Havana, jumping from North to South. A tall pile of dirt makes the launch ramp for this one.
Landing Target
Clear the fence and land on the airport access road.
Tips
You've got a long section of ground to use as a run up, so make the most of it. Lean forward to pick up more speed then wheelie at the top of the ramp. Try to stay central or slightly to the right of the ramp as it'll slightly shorten the distance you'll need to travel to clear the fence.
Unique Jump #3
Found in Escobar International Airport, jumping from South-East to North-West. A set of airplane stairs facing a large blue, white and red airplane.
Landing Target
Jump over the plane and land on the tarmac beyond it.
Tips
Use the airport for a long run up and turn slightly to the left as you hit the ramp. This one is fairly simple.
Unique Jump #4
Found in Escobar International Airport, jumping from South-West to North-East. This one is on the roof of the warehouse building at the South-East of the airport. You can access the roof via the stairs at the South-East corner of the building. The jump is from the sloped air conditioning vent.
Landing Target
You can trigger a successful jump by jumping into the wall of the building opposite, but ideally you want to just miss the corner of that building and land on the sidewalk next to the road below.
Tips
Go as far back as you can on the roof then speed ahead, leaning forward slightly to pick up more speed. Hit the ramp straight on.
Unique Jump #5
Found in Viceport, jumping from East to West. You'll need to head to the rooftop of the Vice City Port Authority main building. There's a set of stairs at the South-East side to get there. The jump is another sloped air conditioning unit.
Landing Target
Clear the street and land on the roof of the large building opposite.
Tips
Start your run up at the top of the stairs. You don't need to lean forward for this one. It's a fairly short jump and you'll clear the gap with a full run up.
Unique Jump #6
Found in Viceport, jumping from South to North. You'll need to complete jump #5 to get to this rooftop. From there, take a run up and hit another sloped air conditioning unit to get airborne.
Landing Target
You need to jump over the Civil Asset Forfeiture Impound building and into the yard to the West of the 101 Bayshore Avenue safehouse.
Tips
Use the whole roof as a run up and hit the ramp right in the middle. Remember to wheelie as you hit it for a slight height boost which could make all of the difference.
Unique Jump #7
Found in Viceport, jumping from South to North. Just West from the large container ship there's a long sheet of metal resting on a shipping container.
Landing Target
Clear the building and land on the road at the end of Bayshore Avenue.
Tips
You need some serious speed for this one. Start your run up as far away as possible and ensure you lean forward on the bike for a speed boost. You need to clear the whole building, although slightly touching the balcony on the way past will still allow for successful completion.
Unique Jump #8
Found in Viceport, jumping from North to South. Some wooden planks resting on a boat on the grass.
Landing Target
Land on the deck of the large container ship.
Tips
Take a fairly long run up, but you don't need to worry about leaning forward too much as the distance is reasonably small. You'll still complete it if you fall off your bike on the landing.
Unique Jump #9
Found in Little Havana, jumping from North to South. A small concrete ramp at the end of the path next to the entrance to South Bridge.
Landing Target
Clear the road and land on or after the ramp at the South side of the bridge.
Tips
You've got a nice long path to use as a run up. Lean forward slightly to boost your speed but this one is reasonably simple. Turn slightly to the right as you jump to avoid accidentally ending up in the water.
Unique Jump #10
Found in Little Havana, jumping from West to East. The Southern set of steps, just North of the Benny's Restaurant sign.
Landing Target
Clear the boat and land in the water on the far side.
Tips
This one can be a pain. You only have a limited run up because there's a wall directly West of the jump so you'll have to lean forward to pick up more speed. The problem is the ground leading up to the stairs isn't very even, so you might hit at bump which will knock you off-course. That's if you manage to avoid the traffic on both lanes of the road you'll need to cross. Then you need to ensure you hit the stairs perfectly in the middle, with just the right amount of leaning back, and enough speed to clear the boat. You almost need to be perfect to complete this jump and if you get it wrong, you're going to lose your bike in the water and waste time trying to find a new one to try again. If you feel like you haven't had a perfect run up, abort.
After landing in the water, your stamina bar will start to decrease. There's a ramp at the North-West side of the boat you jumped over to get back onto dry land. Head there as quickly as you can before you drown.
Unique Jump #11 - PS2 ONLY
Found in Little Havana, jumping from North to South. A wooden ramp at the end of an alleyway facing towards Sunshine Autos.
Landing Target
Clear the small wall, the street and land in the yard of Sunshine Autos.
Tips
You can take a long run up for this jump, although you'll have to avoid traffic and lampposts. Hit the ramp with enough speed and you should clear the fence and comfortably land in the yard of Sunshine Autos. You can still hit this jump in the PSP version, but it doesn't register as a Unique Jump.
Unique Jump #12 - PS2 ONLY!
Found in Starfish Island, jumping from North-East to South-West. A set of wooden planks sticking out of the construction site at the North-West of Diaz's mansion.
Landing Target
Jump over the pond and land on the grass on the other side.
Tips
This ramp only exists in the PS2 version. You can visit the area on PSP but there's no jump to be found.
Unique Jump #13
Found in Little Haiti, jumping from South to North. A wooden ramp resting on a stack of destroyed cars, next to a caravan. It's at the opposite end of the path to Jump #2.
Landing Target
Clear the water and land safely on the opposite side.
Tips
You can use the full path as a run up, starting at the top of the dirt pile which makes the jump for #2. There's no traffic to avoid, so just get as much speed as possible, ensuring you lean forward and hit the right side of the ramp. It's very important to wheelie just as you hit the ramp. You risk losing your bike in the water if you fail, so abort if you don't feel confident enough in your speed.
There's quite a bit element of luck in this one as it depends on how the bike hits the ramp. You don't really want it to launch you high up in the air as you probably won't get enough distance, the ideal jump is more flat. Try to turn slightly to the right as you hit the ramp as the promenade on the other side of the water is a lot closer on the right hand side and you probably won't reach dry land if you hit it too straight or to the left.
Unique Jump #14
Found in Little Haiti, jumping from South to North. A small set of metal stairs facing the White Stallionz Bar.
Landing Target
Clear the first rooftop above the White Stallionz Bar.
Tips
This one is pretty tricky too. You've got a fixed amount of space for the run up so you'll need to lean forward to maximise your speed, however hitting the ramp has an element of luck. Try to ensure you hit it straight-on and avoid turning before you hit it. You'll have to slightly wheelie as you reach the steps but as soon as you're airborne, lean forward to balance out the bike. Ultimately it just comes down to hitting the sweet spot with enough speed to clear the first roof. It'll probably take quite a few tries.
Unique Jump #15
Found in Downtown, jumping from North to South. A large grassy mound at the South end of the Downtown beach.
Landing Target
You need to clear the walls of The Compound and land safely in the yard.
Tips
Use the entire beach as a run up and lean forward. Make sure you hit the right side of the ramp as it's slightly higher than the other side and will give you enough height to get over the fence. As long as you clear the main wall and the smaller fence inside the compound, then hit the ground you should be good, even if you end up smashing into the fence and falling off your bike.
Unique Jump #16
Found in Downtown, jumping from East to West. A wooden ramp sticking out of the third floor of the construction tower. You can follow the scaffolding ramps to get up there.
Landing Target
Clear the gap and land on the roof of the building opposite.
Tips
This one couldn't be much easier. As long as you reverse back so you have the maximum space for a run up, you just need to accelerate forward. You don't need to lean, or even wheelie on the ramp. Just drive as fast as you can and you should clear it.
Unique Jump #17
Found in Downtown, jumping from South-West to North-East. A corrugated metal sheet is resting on three concrete pipes in the construction area.
Landing Target
Clear the builder's cabins and the fence, landing on the grassy area to the North of the construction site. Landing on the cabin can be successful too.
Tips
This one isn't too tough either. Take a fairly decent run up, slightly past the end of the building and use the slight hill as a boost at the start and lean forward into the ramp. Touching down on top of the cabin is usually enough to award the jump but it's easily possible to clear it completely.
Unique Jump #18
Found in Downtown, jumping from North-East to South-West. A sheet of metal resting on a shipping container at the end of an alleyway.
Landing Target
Try to land on the rooftop of King Knuts, but it may register if you land on the ground to the West side too.
Tips
This one was a real pain in the ass! I tried to do it using a Streetfighter for a good 30 attempts and got close but never completed it. I switched out to a PCJ-600 and found it so much easier, completing it after 2 attempts, so I strongly recommend you use that bike straight off the bat.
The second thing is that it seems much more likely to register the jump if you go off to the right of the ramp and land on the tarmac near the grass, rather than trying to make it up to the rooftop to the left. You'll need a pretty huge run up, from the road in front of the stadium and you'll probably need to lean forward the whole time which makes turning pretty tricky, but ensure you hit the ramp heading slightly towards the right (see the screenshot below for a rough idea of where you want to be jumping from).
You'll need to re-use this ramp to jump to the roof in order to get to the next jump, but that's not so much of a problem. Even the Streetfighter can get you to the roof, you'll just struggle to be awarded the actual unique jump when you do it.
Unique Jump #19
Found in Downtown, jumping from West to East. A large, steep concrete ramp on the roof or King Knuts. You'll need to land Jump #18 on the roof in order to get up here.
Landing Target
Clear the street and land on the rooftop opposite.
Tips
Use the ramp from the previous jump to get onto the rooftop on the left. It'll probably take quite a few attempts but once you're up there with a bike, follow the roof around and you'll see the large ramp above King Knuts.
Go back from the ramp as far as you can without falling off the roof, then speed towards it and gently lean forward the whole time. You don't need to stop leaning as you hit the ramp either, you should go straight up it and the speed you have should be enough to launch you onto the rooftop opposite.
Unique Jump #20
Found in Downtown, jumping from North to South. A set of stone stairs at the South end of the road in front of the Hyman Memorial Stadium.
Landing Target
Clear the water and land safely on the other side.
Tips
Start your run up at the end of the road in front of the stadium, speed towards the ramp and gently lean forward, then wheelie as you hit the steps. If you do it right, you'll fly over the gap and probably jump almost double the distance you need to, but if you get it wrong you're going to lose your bike in the water. You can't have too much speed for this one.
Unique Jump #21
Found in Downtown, jumping from West to East. A long set of stairs in an alleyway between two white buildings.
Landing Target
Jump into the dirt track.
Tips
Start off at the end of the sidewalk directly leading up to the stairs. Speed along it, learning forward and avoiding pedestrians and lampposts, then turn slightly to the right as you approach the stairs. Hit them straight-on and you should have enough speed to land on the dirt track over the small hill ahead.
Unique Jump #22
Found in Downtown, jumping from South to North-East. A really long set of stairs up a path next to the water, heading towards the Prawn Island bridge.
Landing Target
Clear the bridge and land on the grass at the other side.
Tips
Start your run up way back on the grass. Keep to the right as the grass ends so you avoid the kerb on the path which will probably knock you off course. Then straighten yourself up with the stairs, lean forward and pull back to wheelie at you leave the top of them. You need a lot of speed, but as long as you hit the stairs straight on, you'll go in the right direction. You'll need to clear the bridge and the metal railing and land near the body armor pickup on the other side.
Vice City Beach (East Island) Jumps
There are 14 jumps to complete on Vice City Beach, with 3 of them exclusive to the PS2 version.
Unique Jump #23
Found in Vice Point, jumping from North-West to South-East. A large stone ramp at the end of a path West of the Vice Point Mall.
Landing Target
Clear the gap over the water and land on the road next to the mall.
Tips
Go as far back as you can, around the corner for a run up. You don't need to lean forward for this one, just accelerate normally, although you'll have to constantly turn to the left as you go around the corner and avoid the other building.
The trick seems to be to hit either the left or right side of the ramp. If you go left, it's much safer as you can avoid jumping over the water and instead jump over the corner of the railing and then down the hill. The jump will still register. Otherwise hit the right of the ramp and you'll need to jump over a bigger gap including the water, but you should still have enough speed to get across. Every time I went for the middle of the ramp I got told the jump was failed almost immediately so bear that in mind.
Unique Jump #24
Found in Vice Point, jumping from East to West. This one is on the rooftop of the Northernmost building. There are some stairs at the North end leading to the roof. Once there you'll see a ramp over the air conditioning unit.
Landing Target
Jump the gap and land on the next rooftop.
Tips
Go to the other end of the roof and speed towards the ramp. You will need to lean forward slightly for a bit of a speed boost. Hit the ramp straight on and you should fly over the gap. Pretty straight forward.
Unique Jump #25
Found in Vice Point, jumping from West to East. A concrete ramp at the South-Eastern end of the Mall.
Landing Target
Jump over the road and the "Brodie's Hotel" sign and land at the North end of the building.
Tips
Start your run up at the other side of the mall. You'll probably need to lean forward slightly to pick up a bit of extra speed, but the jump isn't particularly challenging. Hit the ramp straight on.
Unique Jump #26 - PS2 ONLY
Found in Vice Point, jumping from North to South. A few pieces of wood resting on the fence, pointing towards the Leaf Links golf course.
Landing Target
Clear the water and land on the grass of the golf course.
Tips
This wooden ramp only exists in the PS2 version, but the jump is fairly straight forward. Just make sure you've got enough speed heading into it and hit the ramp cleanly and straight-on.
Unique Jump #27
Found in Vice Point, jumping from North-West to South-East. A dirt pile in the South-East corner in front of a building opposite the police station.
Landing Target
Jump over the food vendor and land on the grass towards the beach.
Tips
This one is really easy. Just go to the other end of the yard in front of the hotel where the ramp is and accelerate towards it. You don't need to lean forward or even wheelie as you hit it, the run up will give you enough speed to clear the food truck and land on the grass.
Unique Jump #28
Found in Vice Point, jumping from South to North. A large concrete ramp right in front of the Malibu Club.
Landing Target
Land on the far side of the Malibu Club roof.
Tips
Start your run up at the other end of the grass. You'll need to lean forward, or at least keep tapping the left analog stick forward to boost your speed and wheelie just before you hit the ramp. You'll need to jump at least three-quarters of the way across the Malibu Club roof. You can clear it completely, but as long as you're most of the way over it should register.
Unique Jump #29 - PS2 ONLY
Found in Vice Point, jumping from South to North. There's a ramp resting on the fence in the car park, right next to the ferris wheel.
Landing Target
Clear the fence and land next to the Chunder Wheel.
Tips
This ramp doesn't exist in the PSP version, but the jump itself isn't too complex. Just hit it with a moderate amount of speed and land in the fairground behind the ferris wheel. You've got a long run up if you need it.
Unique Jump #30
Found in Washington Beach, jumping from North-East to South-West. A dark colored ramp at the end of an alley with a pale green wall.
Landing Target
Jump over the road and land on the roof of the building opposite.
Tips
The alleyway leading to this jump starts directly behing the police station. You'll only want to start your run up around half way along it though, near where the green wall starts. You'll need to lean forward a little bit, which makes navigating the tight alley a bit tricky, but the jump isn't too difficult as long as you have enough speed. You can land on the roof, jump into the corner of the roof or even smash straight into the wall of the building ahead ans it should all register providing you were going quickly enough.
Unique Jump #31 - PS2 ONLY
Found in Ocean Beach, jumping from South to North. A small pile of sand between small brick walls in the middle of a construction site.
Landing Target
Clear the building supplies and land at the North end of the construction site.
Tips
The construction site is slightly different in the PS2 version, so the actual ramp doesn't exist on the PSP, but you'll need to speed along the dirt track and hit the sand, clearing the remainder of the construction site. Lean forward on your bike to ensure you have enough speed.
Unique Jump #32
Found in Ocean Beach, jumping from South to North. A thin wooden ramp on the roof of a building. You can gain access to the roof via a staircase at the East side of the building. You'll need to cross a few buildings before you reach the actual ramp.
Landing Target
Clear the taller building and land on the rooftop of the building below.
Tips
Start your run up at the end of the building with the stairs. You need the full length of all 3 rooftops to get enough speed. You're also going to need to gently learn forward on the bike for a speed boost and wheelie as you hit the ramp. Pretty much everything needs to be perfect in order to clear the rooftop.
Unique Jump #33
Boat Jump! Found in Leaf Links, jumping from South-West to North-East. A large stone sticking out of the water makes a perfect ramp towards the Northern part of Leaf Links.
Landing Target
Jump over the fairway at the narrowest part of the island and land in the water on the North side of the golf course.
Tips
You'll probably need a jetski for this one. Luckily there's one docked at the end of a wooden jetty just around the golf course to the East (North of the Pay 'n' Spray). Speed towards the stone ramp and remember you can lean forward on the jetski for a speed boost like you can on the bike. You'll actually end up landing on the golf course and skidding all of the way across it and into the water on the other side, but that counts and the jump will register.
Unique Jump #34 - PS2 ONLY
Boat Jump! Found in Ocean Beach, jumping from South to North. A sunken ramp at Pier 2 of the marina gives just enough of a boost to launch you over the pier.
Landing Target
Clear pier 1 and land in the water on the other side.
Tips
This ramp exists on PSP, but it only counts as a jump on PS2. Go back as far as you can on a jeski and speed towards the ramp, leaning forward and you should comfortably clear the pier.
Unique Jump #35
Boat Jump! Found in Ocean Beach, jumping from South to North. A large stone sticking out of the water, facing the wooden pedestrian foot bridge.
Landing Target
Clear the pedestrian bridge and land in the water of the inlet on the other side.
Tips
The game won't let you go too far out to sea so go as far back as you can then speed forward on a jetski, leaning forward for extra speed and hit the ramp on the right hand side. It's possible to clear the bridge and land in the water on the other side, but most of the time, clipping the far side of the bridge and falling into the water soon after will register too.
Be warned you're probably going to get stuck in here with your jetski so you might want to drive onto the road and grab a vehicle to go back to Pier 1 at the marina where you'll find another jetski right by the entrance gate so you can head for the final jump.
Unique Jump #36
Boat Jump! Found in Ocean Beach, jumping from North-East to South-West. A ramp sticking out of the water right next to the base of the lighthouse.
Landing Target
Clear the land next to the lighthouse and end up in the water on the other side.
Tips
Speed along the beachfront, leaning forward on a jetski and hit the ramp straight on. You'll clip the top of the hill and slide over into the water which should complete the jump successfully. If you did them in order, congrats, that was the last one!
Rewards
After completing the final unique jump you'll receive a $10,000 bonus, in addition to the $250 you received for each jump.
Each of the unique jumps must be completed as a requirement towards 100% completion.
