Marked Men

Martinez forces Phil to check on some merchandise in a warehouse for him.

Cutscene

"Phil, baby, would I screw you over?" asks Jerry Martinez. "Yeah you would" Phil replies, instantly. "Bullshit. I wouldn't. Not to you, not to a brother in arms. Come on, gimme a hug." says Jerry.

Phil and Jerry hug while Vic turns up saying "nah, you'd never screw anyone over, would you?". "Oh, look who it is! St Victor of Vance! The holier than thou killer." replies Martinez. "All these principles, you go around shooting people".

Vic explains "I do what I gotta do, after I trusted an asshole.". Martinez tells Vic to admit that he enjoyed it because he's a maniac and claims he gave Vic a life. "Go to hell, Martinez" growls Vic. Martinez turns and talks to Phil, telling him he saved Vic and he can save Phil too.

Vic asks Phil what this scumbag wants and Phil explains he wants him to go over to a warehouse and make sure all of his merchandise is there. Jerry tells them "it's cool. Go with him Vicky Boy, if you don't trust me. But Phil, you owe me after what you said...". "You said that was forgotten" asks Phil. "If you do this..." replies Martinez.

Phil tells Vic he'll explain as they drive, but it's time for him to get another drink first.

The camera fades to black, then a short time later Vic and Phil head towards his truck. Vic asks what that was about, when Phil said "he's got to go". Phil explains he got drunk and told Martinez he didn't trust him no more and called him an asshole. "He IS an asshole" replies Vic. "No, I am. 'Cause now he won't put any work my way until I DO trust him." says Phil, as they both get in the truck.

Once you're in control of the truck, you'll notice there's a damage meter on the screen for Phil's Truck. You're told to take Phil to the lockup which is marked with a pink blip on the radar.

Make your way out of his warehouse and head to the very North end of Little Haiti where you'll find a pink marker down an alleyway.

Cutscene

The truck pulls up and three men stand in front of it.

Phil gets out and says "Hey fellas, Martinez said..." while one of them replies "Yeah. Martinez said 'Bye-Bye'" as they all pull out guns.

Phil quickly runs to the back of the truck and climbs onto the top where the crates are while telling them to "play fair fellas! What about the damn Geneva convention?".

Phil will stay on the back of the truck as you're told to eliminate all of Martinez's men, who are marked with red arrows above their heads and red blips on the radar.

Phil will open fire from his position on top of the truck, but you might want to run a few of the enemies over. You can get out of the truck and help him, but you'll be immediately told to get back in the truck so don't go too far.

Once all of the enemies are down, you're told to get Phil and his truck back to his place in one piece, with the destination marked on the radar with a pink blip.

Two parked cars have blocked the alleyways you entered by, so you'll have to squeeze past them or get out and drive them out of the way.

Once back on the road, Vic shouts "for fuck sakes Phil, do something" as a car full of enemies approaches and opens fire.

Phil starts lobbing Molotov Cocktails from the back of the truck as you keep driving towards the South.

Cars will continue to give chase and Phil will continue throwing Molotovs but you can simply floor it back to the South of the island.

Phil's truck appears to be immune to fire damage during this mission, and it's also heavier than normal allowing you to crash into cars and knock them out of the way.

Pull into the pink marker when you arrive back at Phil's place.

Cutscene

"I think we've both outgrown our usefulness to Martinez" says Vic. "Jerry wants us dead?" asks Phil. "Shitting asshole... I'm gonna lay low for awhile. I reckon you should too". "Screw that" replies Vic. "I ain't hiding from that piece of shit".

Phil climbs into his truck and tells Vic to remember: discretion's the better part of valor as he drives away.

Mission Passed!

You'll receive a pager message from Martinez after the mission which says he and Phil are still on his shit list. "You'd better leave town while you can...".

If you've already completed "Taking Out The White-Trash" for Phil, Louise will send a pager message as well telling Vic to come over because they've got trouble with Marty.
