Shogun Showdown

The Yakuza have gotten their hands on some seriously heavy weaponry and Toni needs to clean up.

Cutscene
Toni chats to Salvatore through the barred windows of the police station who tells him the Yakuza are making a play to take over the city. They've got a load of weapons in Aspatria and nothing can stop them now. Toni begs to differ.
Aspatria Here We Come

Once on foot, you'll be told to check out the Yakuza Compound which is in Aspatria on Staunton Island. Grab a vehicle and make your way over the bridge then to the North of the island.

When you arrive, you'll see the compound is well protected with a locked gate. They're not going to just let anyone in. You need to give them a reason to let you in.

Cutscene
If Toni's not in a Yakuza Stinger, we see the gate lock shut and a message appears saying "Seems like this yard is for Yakuza only."

You can acquire a Yakuza Stinger gang car from the port at the East of Staunton Island. There's one parked near the apartment block. Grab that vehicle, or another that you find driving around the streets, then return to Aspatria.

Cutscene
The gates open this time and Toni is welcomed in by the Yakuza. A message is displayed which says "The Yakuza car fooled them!"

Drive inside the open gate and around the corner where you'll see...

A TANK!!! You're told to destroy it, but as you probably know Rhino tanks are bullet and explosion proof.

Don't get out of your vehicle until you're right next to the tank because you'll be spotted immediately. Your plan of action has to be to exit your vehicle, get straight into the tank and immediately floor it out of there before they can pull you out.

Smash through the Yakuza Stingers barricading the gate - they'll explode the second your tank touches them - then make your way to 8-Ball's bomb shop, which is behind the multistory car park next to the Pay 'n' Spray.

Drive into the bomb shop garage and the tank will be fitted with a bomb. You'll then be told to get out of the tank and use the detonator to destroy it.

But wait!

Hints & Tips
It's possible to blow up the tank while it's inside your garage, meaning you'll pass the mission, but also keep access to a tank for whenever you need it. Make sure you have full health and armor first, and that there's enough room in the garage for the tank. Drive it in then exit the tank and while standing in the garage next to it, use the detonator and blow it up. It'll be destroyed, you'll pass the mission but the shell of the tank will remain in the garage. You'll lose maybe half of your armor from the blast. Head outside and let the door close, then go back inside and you'll find the tank repaired, good as new!

Once the tank goes boom, the job's done.

Mission Passed!

A short time after the mission you'll receive a phone call from Toshiko Kasen unlocking a new mission at the "T" on the map.

Post-Mission
  • Reward: $3,000
  • Toshiko Kasens' missions are unlocked following a post-mission phone call.
  • Mission Unlocked: More Deadly Than The Male
  • The Yakuza gang are now hostile towards Toni and will shoot on sight.
