Asuka isn't at her condo, but in a note she left for Claude, she explains that she's gone shopping with Maria. Her source in the police has informed her that one of her drivers is a strangely animated undercover cop! He's more or less useless out of his car, so they've tagged it with a tracer. Make him bleed!

There's no time limit on this mission, which is a first for Asuka. You can take your time and grab a vehicle then make your way to Kenji's casino, on the South-East side of Staunton Island.

When you arrive, you'll spot a blue marker to park in, and a car parked at the front of the casino.

In order to complete the mission properly, you'll need to park in the blue marker, however there's a bit of a trick that can make the mission a bit easier...

The car parked at the front of the casino is obviously the car you'll need to chase after stopping in the blue marker. If you don't park in the marker but instead get out of your car and run into the side of the parked Esperanto, you can cause it to turn around without actually causing any damage to it. Spin it around 180 degrees or slightly more and point it towards the gap under the stairs. When Tanner gets into the car, he'll drive it straight into the wall and make himself an extremely easy target.

Don't cause too much damage to his car (before you start the actual chase) otherwise you'll fail the mission.

If you're just tackling the mission normally, park up in the blue marker.

Cutscene

Tanner is seen running down the stairs from the top of the casino in his infamous 'strangely animated' way, before getting into his parked car.

Now you'll need to chase after him and drive-by his car enough so that he flees on foot.

Given he's an undercover cop, as soon as you attack the car you'll receive a four-star wanted level.

Once his car catches fire, he'll definitely make a run for it, with his arms flailing around above his head.

You can continue to drive-by him or just run him over. Your wanted level will be cleared after the mission, so try to avoid firing any extra bullets once he's dead or the nearby cops will see you and you'll pick up new wanted stars.

Mission Passed!
