Claude meets Ray inside the mens toilets in Belleville Park. He tells Claude about his former partner McAffrey who took more bribes than anyone. He thinks he's going to get an honorable discharge if he turns states evidence and he just squealed. He's under armed protection in a witness protection property down in Newport, some apartment behind the car park. Ray wants Claude to torch the place to flush 'em out, then hunt them down to make sure he never talks to nobody.

Once on foot, you'll be told to check out the witness protection house. It's only a few blocks away.

You're given some grenades at the start of the mission, but the target you're aiming for is pretty small so if you think you might need more, head to Ammu-Nation to stock up first.

Make your way to the apartment, which is located right next to the concrete ramp that leads to the Pay 'n' Spray, behind the multi story car park.

Although it's a slight spoiler, you can make the next part of the mission a lot easier by acquiring a large, heavy vehicle on your way to the apartment. A coach or bus works perfectly.

Drive it to the apartment.

Park the vehicle across the garage below the target window.

You now need to try to find the sweet spot to stand in so that you can throw a grenade through the open window. It'll probably take quite a few attempts, so don't get too close because any that miss will bounce back towards you.

Eventually you'll get one inside. You can also use a rocket launcher if you have one which makes this a lot easier. As the apartment catches fire, the garage will open and McAffrey plus two cops will attempt to flee in a car.

If you parked a heavy vehicle in front of it, they probably won't be able to get through.

Throw another grenade or two at the bus and it'll blow up, hopefully taking out everyone in the car and garage. If all else fails, it should take out some of the cops and you'll be left face-to-face with McAffrey who you can blast away.

If you avoid the coach trick, as soon as you blow up the apartment, he'll flee in a vehicle. You can either blow him up with a rocket launcher right here, or you'll have to quickly get in your vehicle and chase him with a drive-by until his car blows up.
