Cutscene

Salvatore is proud of Claude for kicking the shit out of those greaseballs. He's just got one little job before we can all celebrate. There's a car around the block from Luigi's club and the inside is covered in brains. They had to help some guy make up his mind and it proved a little messy... Salvatore wants it taken to the crusher before the cops find it.

Once on foot, you'll appear outside Salvatore's mansion, with your destination marked on the radar with a dark red blip.

Grab a vehicle and make your way out of Saint Mark's and into the Red Light District. As soon as you reach the area a few blocks from the Pay 'n' Spray, you'll receive a pager message from Maria which says "This is Maria. The car's a trap! Meet me at the slip South of Callahan Bridge". A new destination is added to the radar with a pink blip.

If you visit the first location inside an alleyway in the Red Light District, you'll find a Cheetah marked with a blue arrow. DO. NOT. GET. INSIDE!

The car's rigged with an ignition bomb and you'll be dead the second you climb in. You can destroy it with weapons if you like, or you can just ignore it completely, but your objective now is to meet Maria under the Callahan Bridge.

Follow the road past Chinatown and into the small tunnel then park up in the blue marker.

Cutscene

Claude meets Maria and another woman, who is introduced as Asuka, next to a boat.

Maria tells Claude that Salvatore thinks they're going behind his back, so he was offering Claude to the Cartel in order to make a deal. Maria says she couldn't let him do that, and the worst thing is it's all her fault because she told him that her and Claude were an item, but don't ask her why because she doesn't know. Either way, Claude is a marked man on Mafia turf and Maria needs to get out of there too because she's seen too much killing and too much blood.

Maria then introduces her friend, Asuka, who is someone they can trust. Asuka tells them she's had enough of the speeches and suggests they get out of there before they get more hysterical Italians wanting less friendly reunions.

They all climb aboard the boat.

The three of you are now on board the boat docked at the wooden jetty and pink blip on the radar shows your new location which is a jetty on Staunton Island.

This is the first time you'll have access to a boat in the game and also gives you the opportunity to collect the hidden package on an island just South of your starting position, should you wish to.

Sail the boat over to Staunton Island.

Park up in the blue marker at the jetty when you arrive.

Cutscene

The two girls and Claude walk away from the boat and up some stairs as the camera pans to the high-rise buildings.

At the top of the stairs, Maria tells Claude that she needs to talk with Asuka, so why doesn't he go cruise around.

Asuka explains she's got a place for him to lie low in a warehouse at the edge of Belleville. She wants to see him again soon, when he's ready for a little chat.

Mission Passed!

You've officially unlocked Staunton Island. The first time you get in a car, you'll hear a special radio report which explains the Callahan Bridge has finally been repaired, meaning you can drive between Portland and Staunton Island whenever you like. The Porter Tunnel connecting the two islands is also open now giving an alternate route between them, as is the underground subway.
