Fear The Repo

Published by Psy
Last Updated

Vic does some repossession work for Marty and acquires three vehicles in dubious circumstances.

Cutscene

Vic arrives at the trailer looking for Marty, only to find Louise dressed head to toe in pink spandex, doing her aerobics in front of the TV.

He walks in laughing and says hi, and she does the same, asking him how he's keeping. "Better now" he says with a smile on his face, looking Louise up and down...

Vic tells her not to stop her exercise while he's waiting for Marty but Louise says it's nice to talk to someone and asks about Vic's time in the service. "I screwed up" he explains. "You and me both" answers Louise as Marty walks in.

Ever the gentleman, he says to her "damn it woman, if you're gonna dress like a whore, I'm gonna turn you out". "I was doing my aerobics Marty. For crying out loud, gimme a break" she tells him.

"I will, a broken fucking neck. You watch your mouth in my god damn house". Their argument has caused the baby to start crying, which gives Marty another reason to get angry with her.

Eventually he remembers Vic is there and asks him what's up? Vic says he might have some other work? "Yeah, yeah, sure... I got some debts that people need to start paying".

The baby continues to cry which makes Marty even angrier, screaming out "if you don't shut that brat up, woman, I will". Louise comes storming out, saying "screw you Marty, you're nothin' but an inbred hillbilly piece of shit". "You better watch your mouth, tramp - or I'll knock them teeth out". "That's it! I'm taking the baby and I'm going to stay with my sister" she cries. "Good. Go ahead! Go! Fat ass pig sister of hers. I'll hit her an' all, too" Marty tells Vic as they leave.

When you're outside, you'll be told to take Marty to his lockup which is marked with a pink blip on the radar.

Get in Marty's Bobcat and head down the road to the South where you'll reach his lockup near the Beachcomber hotel.

Pull into the pink marker when you arrive.

Cutscene

Marty hands over a "list of shit that needs repossessing". He doesn't think Vic has the stones to get it for him but wants to be proven wrong.

You're told to steal the first car and take it back to Marty's. It's marked with a blue blip on the radar.

Take Marty's truck or grab another vehicle and make your way East of your location to find the car.

It's a white Cheetah and it's actually parked right next to your safehouse. A man is cleaning it or at least doing something with the front tire when you arrive, so feel free to park your car on top of him so you can steal it in peace, or just park up nearby and get in. He won't move until you get into the car so you can climb in and speed away without harming him if you want.

If you choose not to kill him, he might give chase on foot, but he'll be no match for the Cheetah.

Once inside, you'll be told to take it back to the lockup.

Drive back up the road to Marty's lockup and park it in the pink marker.

Vic gets out and you're now tasked with tracking down the second car, which is also marked with a blue blip on the radar.

Unusually, the Cheetah isn't locked when you drop it off, so you can get straight back in and drive it away, but the game will then inform you that it needs to be left at the lock up, so you'll have to take it back before you can go for the second car.

The second car is in Little Havana, to the North of your position, however it's moving. You'll have to catch up to it and force it to stop so you can jack it from the driver.

Steal a car, such as the parked Admiral near Marty's place and head up the road to the North. You'll encounter the car somewhere in the middle of Little Havana.

Crash into it, or park in front of it, but get it to stop then you can open the door and pull the driver out.

Drive it back South to Marty's lockup which is marked with a pink blip on the radar.

Pull into the pink marker once again when you arrive.

Vic gets out and this time he's told to intercept the delivery van, which is also marked with a blue blip on the radar. This one is in Little Haiti, further North than you've been so far.

Grab a vehicle and make your way towards the blue blip.

You'll eventually find the van parked between two buildings with two men standing by.

Feel free to flatten them with your car to avoid any confrontation, then you're free to get into the delivery van.

As soon as you do, you're told to get the van back to the lockup, which is helpfully marked with a pink blip on the radar, however you're also given a 2-star wanted level.

As you make your way back to the South, you'll have a number of police cars coming at you. Crashing the van will likely make a bunch of TV's fall out of the back, which is funny, but doesn't actually have any bearing on the mission.

Try to avoid the police cars and get back to Marty's place.

Pull into the pink marker when you arrive. You don't need to worry about losing the cops first.

Cutscene

Marty tells Hank to get the van out of here while Vic wonders aloud "Why do I get the impression none of those debts were genuine?". Marty tells him "whatever I say's mine, is mine. And what I say, goes. If you wanna get on round here, you'll learn that one, kid."

Mission Passed!

Shortly after the mission you'll receive a pager message from Louise, Marty's wife, asking him to drop by if he has time.
