The Portland Chainsaw Masquerade

Cutscene

After arriving at Vincenzo's warehouse, Toni receives a phone call. Turns out Vincenzo isn't there and instead wants Toni to meet him on a big freighter at Portland Harbor because there's a big shipment just come in. He apologises for their differences in the past and wants them to be partners, or even brothers going forward. It's what Salvatore wants.

Meet at the Freighter

Grab a vehicle and make your way a short distance away to the freighter, which you can access from a wooden ramp near the end of the pier. Once onboard, you'll see a yellow marker next to a doorway which you can enter on foot to head inside.

Cutscene

Inside the ship, we see Toni looking down a corridor, only for a mysterious individual to run past.

We're told to head down to the hull, so follow the corridor down, however keep your eyes peeled as you make your way through the ship as there are small walkways off to the sides which contain pickups like guns and armor.

Cutscene

After entering the hull at the bottom of the stairs, the door slams shut behind Toni and a chainsaw wielding maniac appears from behind it.

Chainsaw Survival

The camera will switch to a fixed isometric view with Toni in the center of the screen. Enemies will come at you from all sides and you need to use all of your weapons to survive. If you've got a .357 Revolver it'll take down enemies pretty quickly, as will a shotgun if you let them get close. Otherwise just fire away.

If the enemies get close to you, sprint away and jump to give yourself some extra distance then turn around and shoot back. You can run past the crates which will make it harder for the enemies to chase you giving you some extra time to fight back.

You'll find a couple of health pickups at either end of the room if you need them, but the best plan is to just not get hit because the chainsaws will pin you down and take a lot of health off.

Once you've survived and killed a good 20 or so of the chainsaw maniacs, a cutscene will kick in.

Cutscene

The door opens and in walks Vincenzo with a submachine gun in his hands. He asks if "that dumb-ass gimp" is dead yet, but Toni bites back that he's sorry to disappoint. Vinnie complains that he's worked his fingers to the bone for Salvatore and that Toni should never have come back because it's all "Toni this and Toni that" and that he's going to enjoy this.

Final Showdown

Immediately after the cutscene, Vincenzo will open fire on Toni. He'll probably take a decent chunk of health or armor off so you might want to run around a bit to make yourself harder to hit, then try to get close enough to knock him down with a shotgun blast.

Whatever you decide to use, just make sure he eats more lead than you do. There are health pickups nearby if you need them and still some crates to use for cover. Blast away and you should be able to take Vincenzo down before he does you.

Cutscene

After finishing off Vincenzo, Toni walks over and gives his body a kick to make sure.

You'll be told to head for the exit, so grab any health pickups you may need then head back the way you came, up the stairs and through the corridors to the entrance.

Mission Passed!

You'll receive an in-game message telling you that the Overalls have been unlocked in the safehouse. If you wear them and come back to the ship at night you can play SlashTV, which is a mini-game based on this mission - surviving multiple waves of chainsaw enemies.

A short while after the mission, you'll receive a phonecall from Salvatore, reopening his missions.
