Cash In Kazuki's Chips

Cutscene

Toni enters Toshiko's apartment but she's bathing. She tells him they don't have long left. Her husband, Kazuki, knows who is behind his losses and is coming to kill them both. Toni says he's not waiting around for it to happen and wants to know where he is. Toshiko explains he's gathering his men in Belleville so Toni heads off to track him down.

A Familiar Sight

Grab a vehicle and make your way to Kazuki's apartment just North of Belleville Park. If you've played GTA 3, you'll recognise this place as Claude's Staunton Island safehouse. When you reach the apartment, park in the yellow marker outside the garage.

Cutscene

Toni walks over to the elevator, but as he's waiting, two Yakuza cars speed down the hill, trapping him. The elevator then opens and three Yakuza soldiers are standing inside, weapons ready.

You'll be told to kill Kazuki's guards, and frankly you don't have a choice because they're right in front of you ready to attack. They mostly have melee weapons however so it should be quick enough to take them down.

Next your attention should focus on the two Yakuza cars and four soldiers who will get out of them. Although they'll shoot back, it shouldn't take long to kill them. Blowing up their cars can speed up the process.

Cutscene

The camera pans to the sky where we see a helicopter fly away from the roof of the apartment, heading South across Belleville Park.

Back on foot, we're informed Kazuki's chopper is heading for the Casino, so grab a vehicle and make your way there.

Soon after leaving the apartment area, two more Yakuza cars will begin chasing you, and more will appear as you get closer to the Casino, but you can ignore them and speed straight there, or pull over and wait for them to stop so you can kill the occupants.

As you arrive at the casino, you'll see a Yakuza welcoming party with plenty of foot soldiers waiting around to attack you, so exit your vehicle and quickly clean them out. You can stop down the street and pick them off with a sniper rifle if you prefer.

You'll need to head up the stairs at the entrance to the casino to make your way towards the rooftop. There are a bunch more enemies up here so be prepared to pick them off with an assault rifle, or even a rocket launcher which can damage them behind cover, before you take too much damage.

You actually don't need to kill all (or any) of the guards, but doing so will ensure you keep as much of your health and armor as possible. Ultimately, you must make your way to the top of the stairs and enter the yellow marker.

Cutscene

Kazuki's on the roof and his helicopter flies away. He tells Toni his men have dishonored him, but it is fitting that he kills Toni himself. He has two guards with him, wielding M4 assault rifles, but tells them to "leave us". "I am going to enjoy thrusting my sword into you" threatens Kazuki, to which Toni quickly snaps back "Yeah, I heard that about you".

You're now on foot on the rooftop. You have to fight Kazuki to the death. He's wielding a katana sword. There is an armor pickup nearby which you should probably grab as soon as you need it.

If you have a katana in your inventory, you could switch to it and have a sword fight to the death. If you attempt to use a gun, Kazuki's two guards will open fire with their M4's causing heavy damage. Assuming you're armored up though, you can use your guns to kill his two guards leaving you free to shoot him, although he constantly chases you around the rooftop making it hard for you to find time to stand and shoot before he stabs away with his sword.

Either keep running away from him and stabbing back, or use your guns and eventually you'll take his health down. If you use a katana, it's possible to chop his head off on the first swing, immediately ending the fight... Although his head will reappear in the cutscene.

Cutscene

Kazuki lies dead on the rooftop as Toni stands over him, with his sword in hand. Toni is told to take Kazuki's sword to Toshiko as proof that he's dead, as the camera pans towards her nearby apartment.

All of Kazuki's guards have gone now, so you just need to make your way across the street to the apartment. You can run there on foot which won't take long or find a vehicle and drive over.

Cutscene

Toshiko opens the cage and lets her pet bird fly out of the window.

Toni arrives and tells her it's over. She knows. Toni tells her she won, she got everything she wanted, everything worked out great. He thinks it's time she paid him for his services. Toshiko says they're both fools and killers. "It takes a terrible toll on your spirit". Toni tells her she's free and can go to Costa Rica or Aruba and start over new, but she tells him she's not ready for a beach holiday.

"I have lost everything, and I have done so deliberately. I have been granted everything I've asked for. Now, I just ask to be truly free. Good bye, Toni-san", she says as she sits on the open window ledge before leaning back and falling to her death. We hear the sound of her body falling onto a parked car below.
