Car Salesman

Sell 24 cars across 6 levels while impressing potential customers as you test drive their chosen vehicles.

To start the Car Salesman missions, you'll need to have completed the third mission in the story "Dealing Revenge" for Vincenzo Cilli. After that mission, you'll be able to visit Capital Autos between Saint Mark's and Harwood and enter the glowing yellow marker to start the mission.

On each level, you'll need to get into each of the four vehicles and impress the customer by showing off what it can do. Different vehicles have different requirements so you'll need to alter your driving style and the area you visit to ensure the customer is happy enough to complete their purchase.

In total you will need to sell 6 vehicles of each type, 24 in total across 6 different levels. It should take around 20-30 minutes to complete.

Time Limits & Rules

The mission is only accessible during daytime, between 08:00 and 18:00. After launching the mission, the time starts at around 2:20 and will constantly decrease after leaving the parking lot. Successfully completing a sale will award a time bonus.

The mission will be automatically cancelled if you get out of the vehicle, so don't do it!

You'll fail the mission if you are Wasted, Busted, the car is destroyed or one of your customers dies or becomes dissatisfied. You can also run out of time.

Quitting or failing the mission does not force the player to start from scratch and you'll be able to continue from the latest level.

Vehicle Breakdown

Type Vehicles Sales
Off-Road BF Injection, Bobcat, Patriot 6
Slow Manana, Perennial 6
Fast Banshee, Cheetah, Stinger 6
Adrenaline Junkie Esperanto, Idaho, Stallion 6

Off-Road

All customers for the off-road vehicles want something that can handle rough terrain. You should make use of the area by the car crusher where you'll find grassy hills to perform jumps. Ultimately you just need to drive around on the grass for about 15-20 seconds and the customer will be happy, then return them to the car lot. Damaging the car doesn't affect the customer's satisfaction. These missions will take 30-60 seconds per car.

Slow

Slow vehicle customers are looking for something slow and steady. You specifically need to ensure you don't crash or cause any damage to the car. Drive around the gas station relatively slowly, tapping the accelerator to keep moving. Once their meter is full you can speed straight back to the lot. These missions should take around 20 seconds per car.

Fast

Customers for tfast cars want speed. You'll need to keep the vehicle in mint condition though, so wherever you choose to drive, ensure you're careful and avoid busy streets. If you damage the vehicle you'll need to get it resprayed before you can complete the sale. The best tip is to drive down the street past the car crusher and speed along the concrete sea wall next to the water. Once the customer is happy, you can drive back to the lot to complete the sale.

Adrenaline Junkie

The Adrenaline Junkie wants a vehicle which can run people over and evade the law. As you might expect, doing so will make these missions a lot more time consuming and complicated. Thankfully you can still satisfy their needs without hurting anyone. If you drive to the nearby fire department you can drive-by the parked Firetruck which will increase the customer's happiness. By the time it catches fire and blows up, you should have the sale ready to complete.

Pay 'n' Spray

While playing the mission, there are two main reasons you may be forced to visit the Pay 'n' Spray. Fistly if you damage the sports car, even after impressing the customer, you'll need to get the car repaired before you can complete the sale.

Secondly, and this applies to all vehicles, randomly after impressing a customer, they may decide they don't like the color. In this case you'll need to get the car resprayed once before you can complete the sale. Both of these tasks will add around a minute to the vehicle sale, so make sure you complete them as quickly as possible so there's a bit of extra time remaining.
