Hit The Pipe

Introduction

Jim introduces you to Malc, one of his buddies. Malc tells you that he has some explosives which you can have fun with.

Pipe Bombs

After the cutscene, you'll have some pipe bombs. Your objective is to drive around town chasing after the Angels of Death vans, and blow them up with the pipe bombs. This is much easier said than done.

The main thing you need to know is that Johnny throws the pipe bomb to his left, always. So you need to get on the right hand side of the van you want to blow up. If they see the explosive they'll speed off too, so you'll need to cook the bomb until it's beeping, then throw it and try your best not to get blown the hell away by the explosion. It's rather funny when you do cook the bomb for too long and end up blasting your body head first into a wall though.

There are three vans to take out, so you might need to practice a bit with the bombs but they work like grenades, quite literally, so it's not too steep of a learning curve. I usually take out the two at the North of Alderney first, then take out the one to the South, but it's up to you.

Other than that, there's not really much advice for this mission. Just don't blow yourself up. You're not rewarded, although you can keep the rest of your pipe bombs.

Mission Tips

• Always throw the bomb once it's started beeping. Cooking it for an extra second will just end up killing you.
• If possible, try to approach the vans from the opposite direction, so you throw the bomb underneath the van. They'll sometimes stop and the guys will start shooting you if you do this, making it easier to aim.
• After the mission, you'll get a text from Elizabeta unlocking a new mission for her.
