Inspired by the sweeping orchestral scores from the great films of the 1940s, L.A. Noire's original score was composed by Andrew Hale along with Simon Hale and was recorded in the same Abbey Road Studios that are credited for the innovative recording techniques adopted by The Beatles, and Pink Floyd. Additional music was composed for the score by Woody Jackson, who has won numerous awards
as co-writer on the original score of Red Dead Redemption
