Game Informer has released 5 new screens from Rockstar's L.A. Noire after their cover story of the game a week ago. These great shots are actually not produced from the RAGE engine but from Team Bondi's own proprietary engine. Check them all out here.

I don't know. I feel like this game should be in black and white.

After many years of color in video games, I dont think this should be in Black & White......color makes everything better so you dont have to imagine what color clothes they are wearing

but they should give the option to apply color filters. to chose a vintage, old film look.

the final product will sure look better than these previews, but it has to be much better. with all the time behind it this game should beat gta4 big time in terms of visuals.

Looks good and I'd love to be able to play detective looking for those ever evasive clues but I'm also hoping it's not 70% cut-scenes.

Exactly. I mean, it's not very likely that I'll get this game anyway, but if I did, I would want it to be in black and white. Color just can't properly recreate the feel of those old noir films.

Totally dissagree although the cut-scenes being black & white would be better.

Does anyone know if this will be on the Xbox or PS3 or both

having different coloring style it would be quite odd. the best option is the one i suggested because it lets the player choose. many games do that, like Spore or Audiosurf (ok, they're some different pies, but still).

ultimatly various filters can be applied from videocard drivers, i know i've played vice city and it looked nice desaturated, though not completely bw.

I was thinking more like The Saboteur.

didn't played it, and i don't plan to do it, but i read a review and i have an ideea of what you're talking about. i guess saboteur gives you the option to play "normally", right?
