About: Taking after the mission in GTAIII, high jack an armored car full of explosives and take them to the Platypus in Broker. Once there, make your way into the ship and place the explosives while killing the reluctant crew. Blow it up and make it out alive to win!
The following options are available for this mode:
First a short cutscene will play after which you will be put in the game lobby. Here the host can choose the options they want and other players say they are ready or leave.
If you land next to the ship, the access ramp to the deck is at the bow. Take out as many enemies as possible while off the ship. There are snipers positioned high up on the main structure so be sure to take them out. Make your way across the deck to the main super structure of the ship. Many enemies will engage you along your way and can come from the opposite side of the ship so split up. The door you want is on the eastside of the ship and many enemies will make their way out to you from inside. You can wait a minute or so for most of the enemies to run out or rush into a mess of guns inside.
Once inside the ship you are in the cafeteria with multiple enemies hiding around shooting at you. There is a first aid kit on the counter directly in front of you. Take out the remaining enemies and make your way to the back of the room. In this small hallway there are two sets of stairs; up and down. There are two places to plant the explosives. The first is up in the ship's bridge (where the boat is driven from, where the captain sits, etc) and the second is down in the hull of the ship.
Once both bombs are placed, a timer will start and the game advises you to get off the ship. All enemies should be dead by now so you can run to the bow and down the ramp or even just leap into the water. When the timer runs out a cinematic will show the ship being blown up and the game is over.
One issue that arises many times in this mode is when all players are kicked from the game and end up back in single player. It is believed to happen when someone enters or leaves the game, usually between stealing the securicar and prior to reaching the Platypus. The kick typically happens when the helicopter gets near the ship. The game may also stall somewhere during the mission. This bug has yet to be resolved.
