Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars (abbreviated GTA CW or just CW) is the thirteenth game in the Grand Theft Auto series. The game began life on the Nintendo DS in March 2009 of which it was the fourth GTA game to be released on a Nintendo platform. It was later released in October on Sony's PSP & PSP Go and even later on Apple's iPhone & iPod touch in January 2010. The iPad version of the game was remade in HD with additional features and released in September 2010.

The game made use of a new viewpoint similar to the older top-down style of the original GTAs but on an angle with full rotating ability. The DS version used a new style of rendering called cel-shading to give the graphics a comic book look and feel. Non-PSP versions of the game also use the touch screen functionality of their platform.
