"National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012" (NDAA)

You already had the Patriot Act, wasn't that bad enough? No, your lame senators are about to make a new even worse law, a law that will make it possible to imprison American civilians INDEFINITE and WITHOUT TRIAL. The authorities just needs to come up with a suspicion of terrorism. Terrorists are bad, but it's against human rights to imprison anyone without charging them with a crime.

Anyone wishing to oppose the act can do it here: Ask Obama To Veto Indefinite Military Detention. This page also has more information on the proposed act.

What do you guys think about this? What do you Americans think about your country?

I'm preparing for the first wave of American refugees. fam (1).gif

Hey, if the government wants to lose dozens of agents because they accused me of terrorism and thought they could just waltz into my house and arrest me, they're more than welcome to.

Hope they never hear about Asylum Massacre. laugh.gif

Your (proposed) laws makes me a bit depressed, and I don't even live there.
Massacre
That wasn't Asylum Massacre. If the feds think they can arrest and imprison me based on some trumped up terrorism bullshit, they're going to be very surprised. I'd rather be a martyr than a political prisoner.

I know that wasn't Asylum Massacre speaking, I meant to say that if they see Asylum Massacre, they will maybe put both Asylum Massacre and you on some watch list.

You non-native Americans live there because you escaped from oppressing Europe and poverty. You now need to emigrate once again, but it's harder to find un-occupied land these days. I guess the last free land is Antarctica.
Massacre
Canada's okay.
