Full Version: Got A Mouse For My Laptop

I've been using the finger pad since I got my laptop about 12 months ago and it's always been horrible to use. Like when you're trying to copy & paste something you have to either use two hands or use your thumb for the left click while your index finger slides across the pad quite often having to attempt it twice.
Well anyway I bought this wireless mouse and can't think why I didn't get one earlier, everything is so much quicker for me now and I can understand how a finger pad can be useful while using your laptop on a plane but at work/home a mouse is the answer. Just thought I'd let you all know that. smile.gif

I didn't realize using a touchpad was so complicated for you. o_O

I use my middle finger to move and index to click the buttons. I have a mouse as well but rarely use it. I think internet games are the only time I hook it up. laugh.gif

Actually it was while attempting to play one of the arcade games on RDF that I thought a mouse would be better. I remember trying to play Spank The Monkey on GTA4.TV and it was hopeless. tongue.gif

haha yeah that and other games are what I'm talking about. no mouse = no win. although the trick to that game didn't really need a mouse...

WE NEED THE ARCADE BACK!!!!

i have always used a mouse with my laptop ... even when i travel, i just use my knee for the mouse. it just makes sense ergonomically.

P.S. why is this not in the asylum?

Because if there's any computer dumb fucks out there like me fingering their laptop it could be informative.

I'm fine using the trackpad on my Macbook, My mouse for my Desktop set me back around 40 though.

Using a mouse is better than a trackpad, who would've thought...

The trackpad on my Macbook is very good, multitouch so scrolling is a breeze, but my MX Revolution is so much better if I'm gonna use it for a long time.
