Full Version: Any mutants here?
iGrandTheftAuto.com Forums > General > General Discussion
Heartless
I've always been fascinated by mutations in humans. Anyone here have any interesting stories?

As a run down, I was born without wisdom teeth, and an enhanced immune system that makes me far more resistant to various things. My wife, like 90 percent of the world, has oral herpes. I've been with her for like, 5 years, and I know I've been with a lot of other broads. To this day I have never been able to get it, and I've been tested and everything. However, I do get sick about once every 1-2 years, coming up on it soon I think, where I get a nasty respiratory infection. I was born with bronchiolar asthma, but managed to overcome it early in life. However, as I said, every few years I manage to develop a huge illness that leaves me bedridden for a week. During this time I vomit blood and tissue, but it's not so bad, as it's a free pass for the rest of the time. Like, my entire staff and all my friends would get the cold flu, and I'd spend a lot of time around them and barely get a sniffle.

Further, despite how much I drink, I never get a hangover, and I have never been "addicted" - and I've tested this theory and eveything. One night I drank a case of beer, a bottle of vodka, a bottle of red wine, and then I lost count. I didn't drink for a month to see what would happen, and nothing. Dunno, just can't seem to do it.

So, any weird stories?

Oral herpes is the proper term for cold sores innit? If it is then my wife has never had a cold sore in her life.

I wouldn't be surprised if there were.

I seem to be more resistant to the common cold. I've stood outside in shorts and a t-shirt with freezing rain coming down and haven't gotten sick. Spend plenty of time outside when it's freezing out or getting snowed on and still nothing. Nose will be runny during but clears up after I get inside for a bit. And when other people around me have a cold I don't usually get it. I do get one from time to time but doesn't really last. I'll have a snuffy nose one day, sore throat the next, and then I'm fine (voice still raspy for a day or two from the sore throat).

Nothing special.

Sorta the same, plus I don't feel the cold. Others will say "ooh it's cold ain't it." and i'll say "yeah" to agree with 'em, but I actually don't feel cold, even if it's really freezing just telling my brain to ignore the signals seems to work most of the time. Not sure how i'd fare on the top of Everest though.

My penis is 8 kilometers long.

My molar teeth have triple roots instead of two... Also I have double jointed thumbs. That's really all i can think of.

I only get sick once a year (though I have a stuffy nose almost regularly, and my nose gets really runny when I'm eating). Cold, no matter how bad, doesn't bother me at all, as long as my feet and ears are warm. I could seriously walk around all winter in shorts and a t-shirt, but I'd need a hat. Also, while it's impossible to tell if an injury feels the same way to two different people, it just seems like people are groaning and complaining about minor injuries that wouldn't bother me at all; I'm covered in scars and scratches and I don't even know where most of them came from.

Colds = unrelated to temperature.

Colds = more related to people staying indoors during winter and spreading colds at a higher rate

As for mutations, uhh, doublejointed in my arms, Tolerant to extreme temperatures (although probably not born with it but as a result of having scalding hot baths as a child). And if you believe homosexuality to be as corporeal as I know it to be, you can pin that on as well.

Yeah, this one guy grew a gay on his back. It's totally a mutation.

Hell, I grew from the back of Freddie Mercury (post death)

I would've pegged his mustache as the point of spawning.

i rarely get sick, unless i am drinking, lol laugh.gif... i have a very strong immune system... when most people around me get sick, i usually never do, even if it's something contagious...

i have a re-occurring cyst problem though, which gives me these lumps underneath the skin, and sometimes these turn into puss balls and pop like big zits... but, i have to have them surgically removed or they keep coming back... so, i got a few scars on my face from that...

i've never broken a bone or sprained anything... and i've taken some pretty nasty falls and been in some serious car accidents... my bone structure must be stronger than normal... i don't really have an explanation for this except for maybe having good luck...

my right ring finger can make a cracking sound whenever i feel like it...

i have better than 20/20 vision... i tend to see things that people i know can't see unless they're closer... but, once i get to 40 years old i know i will lose that ability, dammit... it runs in the family...

that's all i can think of for now...
PabloHoneyOle
My bones are infused with Adamantium and I can ejaculate multiple times in a row.

That's almost better than claws.

I have a third nipple. Nothing else to see here.
Spoiler
i have some body parts where the skin is easy to get rushes.

aye, that's what i meant.

Oh okay was wondering if there was some other thing you were talking about. tongue.gif

Actually, now that I think about it, I'm pretty tolerant to heat. The best temperature imo is when you leave your car baking out in the hot sun all day long and then late afternoon you get in and it's like a sauna. But I can't stand cold. Must be the nigger in me.

I'm double-jointed in my thumb, but not medically (Beighton score of 0, if that means anything to you).

Pretty interesting theory behind the genetics of homosexuality, since it's so counter-intuitive. Fantastic studies being planned at Edinburgh regarding three-point mapping of related genes...got to find a suspected locus for the relevant hormones first biggrin.gif

Any mutations huh? Well my other leg is a little bit shorter than the other so I have to wear specialshoes to stop my back getting hurt. And EZ I cant stand cold either but I have a very good resistance to the casual diseaces like flu and other ilnessess and I only get sick once per year.
Pieface
If I cross my middle finger, and the one next to the thumb and move it up and down I can constantly make it crack. And when illnesses come around I always seem to be the first to get it, but then I can laugh at people who are sick after me.

You make that sound as though you're the spreader.

I get sick easy. I went outside without a jacket for half an hour 2 days ago and caught a cold.
Massacre
I was just outside for an hour with no coat. Fucking amazing, I love winter.

Well I've been 6'3" since I was twelve, my doctor thought I had an overractive pituitary gland, but since I'm still 6'3", he was wrong. I don't really have much resistance as far as catching illnesses goes, but once I've got something, I usually get rid of it between 24 - 48 hours, and cuts and bruises heal pretty quickly as well. I can dislocate both my shoulders and my jaw, although the latter was from boxing, and I have double jointed fingers and my big toes are slightly shorter than my other toes.

Same here. I've been sick twice in the past 2 weeks, with a cold and a flu, and each lasted less than 2 days.

I'm the opposite. It takes me two years to put on 30 pounds and about 2 weeks to lose it all.

I'm growing tentacles. That counts, right?
