Does anyone else find it ridiculous that the radio station is only available in The Episodes of Liberty City disc? I paid 20 dollars for TLAD and will be paying another 20 for TBOGT, but if I want to listen to the radio station I have to pay another twenty for a radio station and an extra game that I already own. It doesn't seem like too big of a deal at first, but why should the people who have a hard drive and already bought Lost and Damned get less features in the new game? If I had known they would release them both on a disc, I never would have bought TLAD, or a hard drive for that matter, I would have just waited. Thoughts?

Things like this are how they make their money. It's business. Not saying they should do it, I'm with you on it but that's the way things are.
Massacre
I actually stepped up from dial-up to broadband and got Xbox Live just so I could get TLAD. I wish I'd known about the disk back in February, but there's nothing I can do now.
Tranque
Bullshit, I'm not doing that to get a radio station that probably has less gay 80's music than I have in my 360 already.
OptimumPx
Well, I've put up a poll about it.

I'm undecided. I did download the LaD, but using the disk version would free up valued HDD space + and extra radio station. I just don't know yet...
JPL
now that i think about it, its not just the radio station that gets me mad with Episodes from Liberty City, but the fact that if i waited 8 months, i could have purchased something that is tangible and actually worth something. I might by the disc simply because I have the option to sell it later and at least get some money back off my purchase. you can't sell something you downloaded.

It would free up disk space, but at the expense of $20 extra. I guess if you think $30 for each DLC is justified, it makes sense. I'm not sure, myself, as I don't want to spend the whole day online waiting for it to finish downloading. I think that alone might be worth the extra money.
The Awesome One
Im getting it on disc.(I love discs. Always have disc over DLC) I knew that disc buyers would get something exclusive, but I thought it would be a gun or something like that.

I didn't download TLAD for this reason. With any luck, VC FM will be available for download anyway. And if it isn't, well the songs announced so far hardly have me soiling myself, so there might not be much to miss out on.

btw, does anyone know if the stations on the EFLC disc will be across both episodes? For example, will the new electrochoc songs be in TLAD?

Pretty sure it will all be separated since the features are specific to the title.
Massacre
Well, the new songs from TLAD carry over to GTA IV, so it might actually be the same way for EFLC.

That's what I figure. It would be a waste of their time to separate out the radio both ways when they could just have one radio that works the same in both games. It would just be simpler that way.

I reckon we will have at least one Jacko song. Jacko songs are everywhere now, R* will catch on to the craze.

Well, remember Vice City itself had two Jacko songs. smile.gif

Does it really matter that much? It's only a radio station, a novelty one at that.

It still should have Vice City's greatest hits on it.

I just saw an ad for EFLC on tv, and I'm assuming Roxette's "She's Got The Look" will be on Vice City FM.That song came out in 88 i think. Which leads me to believe the station will feature songs from throughout the 80's, not just the early to mid 80's like the two VC games. Here's hoping for some Rick Astley, then!

Wishful thinking, i know.

I think that would be better than different 80's music. Vice City and VCS pretty much covered the ultimate 80's soundtrack. They didn't miss much, except a few tracks that should've been on Vrock.

Well, they could only cover 1980-1986, while this station can also have songs from 1987-1989 as well. That's more then enough music to populate a new station, and they are still using the earlier 80s as well...all of the songs on the Vice City FM preview are from 1986 or earlier. smile.gif

No Jacko..

I like this station better since I am an 80s fan and Vice City being my favorite GTA games besides SA and the latest ones. The funny thing is that I downloaded half of these songs from the VH1's 100 Greatest One-Hit Wonders of the 80's list and then to open the EFLC to find them on the game? Priceless.

The 80's had a ton of great one-hit wonders.
