Hello, why when I install the new cars on gta 4, traffic is becoming monotonous? How do I fix this?
Please Help! unsure.gif

This, along with the "cars spawning in front of you when you look behind you" glitch has been part of the GTA experience since GTA III, it was especially bad in SA.

Theres not enough traffic. I want traffic jams to be traffic jams. Instead it looks like something needs patching.

if you had huge traffic jams in liberty city, you'd get nowhere. the fact that some streets are so narrow would make it impossible to get past easily.
I personally think its bad enough at the moment.

So true, why would you want traffic jams in a game? You'd get no where and it be boring as hell.

I like traffic jams. I like coming down off a highway bridge to a line of cars to sideswipe on my way into town. I like it better when people pull out in front of me and I punt them into a cop car. I like it even better when I'm driving a POS Emperor and my car doesn't look any worse after I've torn up 20 pretty blingy cars in a line and they can't do anything but sit there and watch my smoke as I take off to go save Roman.

AGAIN.

I hate getting one of those muscle car pieces of shit to go look for a decent vehicle because everybody starts driving theirs too, just to piss me off.
Happens with most of the vehicles but when it's those ones it seriously does my head in.

Make it harder to drive through. If you travel at a high enough speed, you dont actually get any cars appear in front of you at all.

Agreed, there should be random traffic jams at peak hours of the day. It makes for a better police chase especially if the sidewalks were filled with pedestrians like the real NYC is. Then when your car is SOL because of all the damage to it from mowing down hundreds of people and smashing into countless numbers of taxis and buses, you get into a HEAT inspired shootout in the middle of all the action. The echo of gun fire rippling between all the skyscrapers as you make your way from one car to another dodging bullets and lobbing grenades which set off one of the biggest chain reactions of explosions ever. You watch as about 80 cars go up in flames with bodies flying everywhere. You make your way into the subway system to escape the blast and hear the violent rumble and witness dust and debris crackle and fall free from the ceiling. Small tile peices fall loose from the wall as you race through the stair well and onto the platform to make your getaway. But im getting ahead of myself. Perhaps they could impliment this in the next installment, would be exciting.

I noticed that if you drive really fast there is less traffic also. (like it doesn't spawn in time or something) Certain parts of the map have a lot of traffic at the right times of day though.

I think pc version is probably capable of more traffic too. Isn't the console version limited to 33 in vehicle density or something like that? I keep it set on 100 (have pc version)

That's funny about Roman during a traffic conversation.

I found the mission where he gets out of the car to work one of two ways.

The first time, huge traffic jam at a bridge toll, of course when he flees,
the result is a 4-star wanted level fight with the cops.

The second time, avoiding the bridge and the traffic jam, Niko just walks him back to the car. laugh.gif
