(I posted this in the video fourm but thought it needed its own),
Here are the new things in a nut shell....
New Machine Gun: M249 SAW, The M249 SAW, or Light Machine Gun, 5.56 mm, M249 is gas-operated and air-cooled. It has a quick-change barrel, allowing the gunner to rapidly replace an overheated or jammed barrel. A folding bipod is attached near the front of the gun, though a M192 LGM tripod is also available. It can be fed from both linked ammunition and STANAG magazines, like those used in the M16 and M4. This allows the SAW gunner to use rifleman's magazines as an emergency source of ammunition in the event that he runs out of linked rounds. However, this will often cause malfunctions because the magazine spring has difficulty feeding rounds quickly enough to match the SAW's high cyclic rate.
New Sniper: DSR-1, The DSR 1 system is configured in a bull-pup design, with a free-floating barrel. The folding bipod is mounted onto upper rails (above the barrel), and the adjustable horizontal front grip is mounted on the lower rails (under the barrel). The rifle features a fully adjustable rear stock and cheek piece. The holder for a spare magazine is installed in the front of the trigger guard to decrease reloading time. The DSR 1 action features a benchrest match-grade, fluted barrel that is quickly interchangeable and is fixed into receiver by three screws. The bolt features six lugs that lock directly into the barrel. The barrel is protected by a ventilated aluminium handguard and is fitted with a muzzle brake (which is very useful when firing full-power, magnum loads). The trigger is two-stage and adjustable. The DSR 1 features a manual, ambidextrous three position safety, located above the trigger guard. For the standard version of the DSR 1 a tactical suppressor is available. The suppressor is designed to be used with high power ammunition of the DSR 1 chamberings. This suppressor effectively suppresses the muzzle blast. Naturally it cannot suppress the crack of a supersonic projectile but the direction where the bullet comes from is effectively concealed. The tactical suppressor is easily mounted in seconds on the muzzle brake using a quick release lever.
New Shotgun: AA-12, The Auto Assault-12 (AA-12) (originally designed and known as the Atchisson Assault Shotgun) is a shotgun developed in 1972 by Maxwell Atchisson. The current 2005 version has been developed over 18 years since the patent was sold to Military Police Systems, Inc. The original design was the basis of several later weapons, including the USAS-12 combat shotgun. The weapon is selective fire, operating as a semi-automatic, or in fully automatic mode at 300 rounds per minute. It is fed from either a 8-shell box magazine, or a 20-shell drum magazine, and also has the abilty to fire may types of rounds including small explosive rounds!
New Attack Copper: MH-6 Little Bird, The MH-6 Little Bird, and its attack variant, the AH-6, are single-engine light helicopters used for special operations aviation in the United States Army. Originally based on a modified OH-6A, it was later based on the MD 500E, with a single five-bladed main rotor. The newest version, the MH-6M, is based on the MD 530F and has a single, six-bladed main rotor and four-bladed tail rotor.
Guns: One 30 mm (1.18 in) M230 chaingun or Two .50 cal (12.7 mm) GAU-19 or Two 7.62 mm (0.30 in) M134 Minigun
Rockets: Two 2.75 in (70 mm) Hydra 70 rocket pods
Missiles: Two TOW anti-tank missiles or Stinger anti-air missiles
New Sticky Bombs: Then you have the new sticky bombs, they going to be mainly C4 bombs that stick to things DUH.
Alright, pretty big nut shell but those are the new weapons and there specs in the new GTA: BOGT give or take some of the ways they are seen in the game but there you go how this helped!
