Full Version: Which PC is better? Forums > GTA4.TV/ Archive > Old Forum Archive (Read Only) > General > Geek Central
I'm not an expert in PCs (off course I know basics), but I would like to ask you which PC is better (for gaming):

Motherbard: ASUS M2N68-AM
Graphic card: VGA ATI RADEON HD4670 1GB DDR3
Processor: AMD Athlon X2 7850 2,8GHz
Memory: 4 GB DDR2 800MHz
Hard Disk: 320 GB SATA II 7200 rpm
Optical disk drive: DVD RW Black LG
Sound card: 5.1 Ch. Sound Blaster OnBoard

Mother board: MB Gigabyte socket 775
Graphic card: VGA 9800GT 1024MB DDR3
Processor: Intel Core2Duo E8400 3,0GHz
Memory: 4096MB DDR2 800MHz Kingston
HDD: 500GB SATA WD Opticki pogon:
Optical disk drive: DVD RW Pioneer
The e8400 system is faster. Are these already built or did you come up with these systems yourself? How much are they?
Built. I don't know how much are they exactly because the prices are with keyboards, monitors etc. which come with them (you can buy it without them though, but I don't know the price yet)

1st one:
With keyboard, mouse, 5.1 speakers and ACER TFT 21,5'' - WIDE - FULL HD monitor.
Also, the OS is Vista Home Basic SP2

2nd one:
With keyboard, mouse, speakers Logitech S220, Monitor LCD 22", and I don't know anything about the OS..

They are from the same place, so I was wondering because on the site it says the first one is good for gaming etc. because of the AMD processors and ATI graphic cards.. Also because Direct X 10, but the second one looked better to me, because everything looked the same except the processor from the 2nd one is faster (3 GHz), then first one (2.8GHz).., so yeah that confused me..
The second system is better in terms of specs. The Intel is a much faster CPU and the 9800 GT is a better 3D card than the ATi. Those are the two most important specs for gaming.
Well, I bought the 2nd one but just with Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83 GHz
Everything else the same smile.gif
