So, i was wondering just how many of you own a PSP? I've had one since it was released. So i have a PSP Phat. I hadn't used it for a long time up untill recently. I bought a game called phantasy star: portable and i'm loving it.
Here is my top 5 games list for PSP:
Phantasy Star: Portable
Phantasy Star Portable's combination of familiar, yet somewhat innovative gameplay, backed by some of the greatest graphics and sound on the PSP thus far, makes an already thrilling package. Adding in in lovable and unique characters, nearly limitless character customization, and plenty of replayability seals the deal, making this game a must-have if you own a PSP.
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII
Crisis Core is the title that put Final Fantasy VII back on its feet, and made it soar. It succeeds on so many levels, and could be enjoyed (although slightly less understood) even by gamers who've never played the original game. It's also surprisingly import-friendly, and, with the help of a few guides and a Katakana chart, can be completed without speaking a word of Japanese, although the most important part of the game—the plot—will be missed out. For anyone who wants to enjoy a mature, exciting and moving video game, do yourself a favor and get your hands on the masterpiece that is Crisis Core.
Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories
If you own a PSP, and have been a fan of the GTA series in the past, then you owe it to yourself to try this game out. Otherwise, if you are interested in seeing what all the hype of the GTA world is about, then you should look to one of the amazing console games for your first impression.
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories
GTA VCS still retains everything the GTA formula ever had and is far superior to LCS in many ways. Definitely work checking out.
Monster Hunter Freedom 2
This is a pretty nice piece of software. It has lost some of the luster since it has competition. If you like the original, you cannot go wrong picking up the sequel. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a very nice game.
Considering how many games try to one up their previous installment by updating the game, it is a bit heartbreaking to see Capcom play it safe. They should have taken more chances with the property. However, that does not mean it is bad, it is just a little disappointing for someone that finished the previous game.
I like them mostly because i can play them when i am on the train or bus when i'm commuting. I am also looking forward to two new games for the PSP. The first being LittleBigPlanet and the second is Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.
What psp games have you got? What would you concider the best ones?
