I made this just for the hell if it. If there anything E3 related people want to post then this thread is the place to do it. E3 starts tomorrow and ends on the 4th of June.

I want to know what all this MGS fuss is about. Also, have you seen the new PSP Go? I personally don't like it as much, but i might change my mind once i've seen it in action.

Probably look better if you spelt Official right though...

Looking forward to hearing stuff about Fifa 10 though. I'm stoked on it coming out.

god of war, uncharted, and maybe a couple surprises in between like the TL&D for PS3 rumor... i'd like to be blown away by sony's presentation this year... the momentum is shifting rapidly and a great showing at E3 would mean a lot... and from the sound of things, sony's got a lot to show this year...

and of course, i wanna hear about the NEW GAMES!! i wanna see what crazy games i'll be wasting my life on... just anything coming to the PS3, weather it be an exclusive or a multi-platform... i wanna see some crazy new ideas, not the same 'ol...

How is it they can give the new PSP a larger surface area, but not add a second fucking analog stick?

I know, it is stupid.

Is this suppose to be a PSP2, or just an upgrade from the first psp? It would be nice to see some better graphics on a portable game.

I must say... it's pretty serious....
It's been awhile since I've had this much fun playing....
I built up GTA4 so much, I was pretty well done with it after a week.
It became a chore to finish....
The lack of codes didn't help either...

But Infamous is pretty sick...
The freedom it gives you, reminds me of playing Vice City for the first time...
Pick it up, if you have the means.

Infamous is already out, its great... i was a little bit worried cause i thought it might end up being like Assassins Creed, but im having a lot of fun playing it
bOnEs
wow, i played GTAIV for 6 hours yesterday and got the "liberty city minute" trophy (beat the game in under 30 hours)... even though i own infamous, and finally reached the second island, i still decided to waste my sunday afternoon playing GTAIV biggrin.gif... it's still the best open-world city IMO... infamous stands second for me...

but, that's not to take anything away from infamous... it's a fun game... i just still play GTA... always have with all the previous titles, and i will always come back to GTA... it's the only game i play when i am unsure of what to play...

------------

argh, batman: arkham asylum got delayed 'till august... it wasn't an E3 announcement but, it's still an important gaming announcement... but, it's pry for the better considering the new releases this month... red faction and prototype, even though protoype doesn't look like it'll be as good as infamous, and red faction looks like it could do well... and there's still the infamous buzz going on... oh well, i was really looking forward to it later this month...

yea, there's a "armored core: for question" due out this year laugh.gif... lol, i don't know, didn't really realize this series was still alive until i noticed you online playing this a while back... i recall playing armored core 2 but, that was ages ago...

i could be wrong but, they might be saving this announcement as the big finale to E3 laugh.gif...

I'm loving inFamous at the mo, i wonder how Prototype is going to be. Hopefully something different to infamous, it'll give me an excuse to buy another cool game.

i saw a commercial for it last night... it looked... ok i guess... reminded me A LOT of infamous but, with crappier graphics and so-so gameplay footage... never know tho, could be good... but, it's looking more and more like infamous's ugly step-brother laugh.gif...
Ex-PS Fanboy
You know those guys are makin a Sly Cooper 4?
DuPz0r
I just found out the PSP Go is a lighter version of the PSP 3000, and it is all digital based. Which means NO umd disc. Kind of cool. But the screen is smaller too... I like the bulky psp with a larger screen tbh. And i don't think 16GB memory is that much either. 14-16 games on it and then you need a large memory stick for new games. They should have added some touch screen features.

Video of the PSP GO:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJfZ6TjU1WQ
Ex-PS Fanboy
The what? is it like a new Psp? or just a scaled down version of it?
DuPz0r
Yeah. Not a second one, just an upgrade.
bOnEs
well, i can only view a few gaming websites here at work (damn DNS blocker) but, rumor has it that they announced a NEW metal gear game coming out, exclusively for the xbox360... however, it will not feature solid snake... but, it sounds like 360 fanboys will finally get a chance to live and breath in the world of metal gear... luckily for you, hideo kojima can't turn down a truckload of money either laugh.gif...

also, something about a virtual eyetoy like thing called "project natal" that appears to be much more interactive, reading body movements and voice commands... i guess it's like talking to an AI person... kinda lame if you ask me unless they can find a way to implement it into some games where you can actually control the character on the screen with how you move or position yourself... could be something bigger than the wii if this is something they plan to use for games... i could easily imagine playing some shooters or racing games with this feature... but, who knows where they're going with this...

other than that, a new forza game, left 4 dead 2, a couple of new halo's (lol, this generations madden franchise laugh.gif), and some more stuff on this alan wake game... kinda of lackluster IMO... the only real thing that could really really interest the gaming community is that "project natal" thingy...

EDIT: this was obviously microsoft's press conference information in case some of you were too stupid to figure that out laugh.gif... might of missed some of the other information they announced but hey, oh well...
Zen
Nah, wasn't lacklustre at all.

The new Splinter Cell looks amazing, as well as the new Forza. MGS on the 360 is big big news as that was one of the PS3's biggest exclusives, and it'll be interesting to see what they're going to come up with when their time comes.

There's a write up of what happened on my site if anyone wants a slightly more indepth look at what happened tonight.

???

Its a different game... MGS4 is still an exclusive, if you are talking about the franchise, then it has NEVER been a sony exclusive. Remember that game Metal Gear game for the GameCube just a few years back?
Zen
No I don't.

MGS is one of the main reasons for buying a PS3, because of its exclusivity, obviously, but now that the 360 has MGS, regardless of whether it's MGS4 or not, that incentive for buying a PS3 for MGS is lost since there will be a (most likely) bigger & better one out on the 360.
DiO
They never said it was exclusive. They announced their exclusive games then revealed this one. Leads me to believe that it's multi-plat. I hope anyways. Hope that Konami aren't jews bags like R*. Multi-plat MGS sounds good to me. I only hope it doesn't limit the game in any way because of the capabilities of the 360 compared to the PS3. Wouldn't want a downgrade from MGS 4.

edit

And its not MGS4. Its called MGS Rising. You play Raiden.
Massacre
Raiden? The return of naked cartwheels...
DiO
I hope. Raiden is sexy as hell.

http://xbox360.ign.com/dor/objects/1435440...ing_trl_e3.html

Theres the vid for it.
Massacre
Vid? You mean the flashes of Jap art and a three second pan over his face? Yeah, I've already been disappointed by that one once today, I'll wait for a real trailer.
FuddMan
Project Natal looks fucking stupid. I'd feel like a prick waving my body around, alone, in my room.
Modern Warfare 2 looks just like COD4. I bet there aren't many sequences similar to that snowmobile one.
If the Assassin's Creed 2 gameplay is anything like the trailer, then it should be pretty decent.
Looking forward to Crackdown 2. The original was brilliant.
Forza 3 looks incredible but I get the feeling GT5 will be way better.

And that's pretty much all I care about. NFS Shift will be the same old shit no matter what anyone tells us beforehand.

OMFG the Assassins Creed 2 Trailer was FUCKING AWESOME. The cinematics were graphicaly Mind blowing. But the game seems like it will be much better set in Venice.

Was that a Gun Altair had at the end? some sort of old mini cannon ball type gun.

Can't wat to see what else will come out of this years E3.

yea, i read a huge article on assassin's creed about a month ago... and yes, there will be some very interesting contraptions... like a flying machine for instance laugh.gif... i guess this version of altiar (forgot the new characters name) is a good friend of da vinci so, we're gonna see some of da vinci's creations come to life in AC2... he's also gonna have the ability to swim as well, creating more stealthier ways to eliminate the enemy or hide from the enemy... also, enemies will check hiding places now as well... if they think your there, they'll stab wildly into the stack of hay to kill you...

EDIT: yes, "metal gear solid: rising" is for both systems... so, you'll never get the chance to play MGS4 but, the franchise is now available on both systems... i am sure microsoft tried to buy them away from sony but, they pry saw it as a chance to gain additional revenue by having it for both systems... however, your not getting the real MGS experience... you'll have to buy a PS3 my friends if you want that...
QUOTE
you can expect a straight-up action title along the lines of Devil May Cry, with little to no stealth elements. They're calling it "Lightning Bolt Action" rather than "Stealth Espionage Action,"

I'm watching the Nintendo Live conference now. Metriod: Other M looks pretty cool. Shame i don't own a Wii lol.

I'll be watching the Sony Conference Live in 1 hour. I'll post anything cool i see here.
FuddMan
Nintendo's conference was diabolical. And if Sony announce a HUUUUUUGE price drop on the PS3 (either because they're nice or because they're making way for a slim PS3) I'll be tempted to pick one up.

Nintendo failed, as always. Fingers crossed on the PS3 price drop, though.

FAILED. Yeah, the only remotely interesting bit was Metriod tbh.
DiO
Yet Wii's sell the best. Well, E3 is more for hardcore gamers anyways.
bOnEs
a price drop is highly unlikely... i am expecting a price drop to be announced around the holiday season, not at E3...

ahh nintendo... they are doing so damn well that, there's no need to show off anything revolutionary... they're on cruise control right now, sales are doing extremely well and, there's no sign of it slowing down... i'd imagine they'll be like this for another year or two, before they announce their next big system...

Nintendo's Conference was awful. :/

$249.99 for the PSP Go...

a bit boring so far. Just uncharted 2 ftw... Oh hang on MGS peace walker for PSP w000t. there was 4 snakes O_O. looks cool thoughfor a psp game.

Final Fantasy VII on PSN ohmy.gif COOOOL!

Rockstar games ps3 exclusive called AGENT, an assassin type game. That sounds pretty cool.

The AC2 demo was great. I saw the flying machine, and Ezio sneaking up to two guards and stabbing them both in the throat simultaneously with "poison blades." it looked amazing!

a bit boring so far.

That always makes me think of Armored Core. Actually I just heard from AC online that they're porting AC3 onto the PSP. Any news of it?

what is this shit motion controller like? I've heard it looks like a glowing ball on a stick, which is laughable in comparison to Natal.

I'm not hating on the PS3, least not til I've seen it. It's just Natal looks fucking amazing for practical use, I.e Games like Milo interactive.

Gran Turismo 5 trailer was shown.

GOD OF WAR 3 DEMO - Graphics brilliant as expected. Animation terrific. Gameplay and action seem to be on par with most action games at the moment. Epic boss battle. Release date: March 2010.
