I had some spare time in Tech class so I decided to make it. First sig ever made. I had no idea how it would look on this site. so I just picked some random dimensions that were within forum rules. kinda wish I made it wider

Fix'd... Again.

I gave the font a border and used a bevel effect, also I used paint daubs effect for the background, and then I gave it a thin border.

I also made his company logo.
Massacre
Remove the PS logo (or make it smaller) and change the font of your name, and you have a nice sig.

Like I said i had no idea how it will look, but now that I have an idea I can do some editing. Not till monday though.

What font would you recommend?
TreeFitty
I agree with Massacre. Try something like Arial Black or similar.
Massacre
This is the closest I've found to the AC font, but I'm still looking. Check dafont.com, they've got some good stuff.

This one's good, too.
Ex-PS Fanboy
Thanks I was gonna try and use the letters from the AC:FA writting to try and spell my name. But I had no letter that I could use for Y.
Indy
It's a good base to start off with, but you can make it look better, just some ideas;
Border
More layers
Increase contrast
Increase sharpness on foreground
Play with some noob filters
Overlay them, colordodge etc

Just experiment, but don't go over board, simplicity is my favourite style.
Benzilla
Can you not just search for the AC font? I'm sure it will be on the internet somewhere...
DiO
Look up tuts. Good for a first for sure.

The second if you change the text colour to white and add a black outline using the blending options.

did that.

I also screwed around with some effects for the background. Also I made White Glint (the mech in my sig)'s company logo. I'll upload them later.
