LOL.

I had that too; and the huge case (that looked like an even BIGGER Gameboy) that stored the magnifier, light and like 8 games. I lugged that bitch everywhere with me. In fact, I'm pretty sure I still have it.

I remember my first gaming system. A GameBoy Advance. I still have it in a shoe box somewhere, maybe in 50 years it'll be worth a million dollars lol.

Gameboy Advance SP FTW! I felt so cool flipping that thing open because that was before I had a cell phone biggrin.gif

Looking back on it now i think the magnifyer/light adapter was really bad for your eyes. I dug it out from the loft and booted it up (original Super Mario still in the cart bay) and yeah...that thing really wasn't good for your eyes.

Might setup my Atari 2600 later and play some Defender. I wonder how much my Defender is worth. It doesn't have the box which i know is a big let down on the price.

My old humongous grey gameboy was a true phenomenon... at one point, I could run the thing without batteries. I ran it for a week straight. I still can't explain it.

Also, Pokemon Red ftw.

I'm not even 20, heck I'm not even 18 yet (Not till Saturday at least). So you are old.

I remember having the shitty accessories for the GameBoy like the magnifying night light so I could play it in bed at night.
ViceMan
I remember the original Gameboy and Tetris, I had one when I was about 6, I remember going on holiday to Lanzarote and all I did was play bloody tetris and some other game. Plus I had some audio adapter thing for it that plugged in the bottom.

LOL I remember that speaker now you mention it, all the accessories attached to the GameBoy at once made it look like a transformer or something and it ceased to resemble a 'portable handheld device'. I'm sure it was as big as my NES with all attachments fitted.
Tetris was great on two player and Tennis too.
Full Metal Monkey
I just found another relic on the loft. It was the 'portable' recharable battery which weighed an absolute ton and is similar to the Xbox 360 brick. That thing was dangerous, you could have easilly used it to beat someone to death with it.
GLC
Lol, after 15 minutes searching I found my old GBC.

Funnily enough, we're not all available checking through every topic every time a new post is made.

I never understood Zelda, personally, in terms of gameplay, surely the game is actually horrible

I'm playing The Minish Cap on Game Boy Advance and it's great. Reminds me of the first one on NES.
