Can't post any pictures, because I haven't been deployed yet. Will be next year, but that's a pretty long wait for some pictures.
I wish you luck on your journey and a safe return. After I came back I was too used to all the noises and it was hard to go to sleep on a soft bed and things being quiet. It was extremely hard to control your adrenaline when you hear loud noises. Stay Safe.
Thanks man, it seems you have a lighter version of PTSD, but I think everyone gets a form of it when they come back. Again cheers, did you leave the army after your deployments? Or are you still on the job?
No, I retired in 07, I guess I had seen enough bullshit and those young soldiers were wearing me out, I couldn't keep up anymore lol. I took over the family business in New York and been doing it since. I still got time to be a geek and play GTA though lol.

Those are some interesting pictures.
A few months ago I read the book The Last True Story I'll Ever Tell by John Crawford. He was in Iraq in '04. Some of your pictures slightly coincide with some of the findings in his book. He described being on guard one night, and below were two drunk men (kind of like the naked man, he said all kinds would hang around under the OP). One of them pulled a pistol and proceeded to shoot at cars, an American guard had no choice but to fire, hit the man in the pelvis, and the bullet exited through the man's penis. And as if that wasn't enough, the guy had been married earlier in the day.
Anyway those are great photos, man. And it's good to see you home safe.
I can't imagine losing my true best friend. Poor fella. If you think that is bad you should see the aftermath of a AC-130 attack. If you ever played COD4 and played the mission where you had to be the Television operator and got to blow people apart, imagine going to the scene after that.
