Game exited after showing the Rockstar yellow logo.
Any suggestion or help please?

My Computer configuration
Processor:Intel dual core 3.0GHz (Pentium D)
RAM:2GB
Video:Nvidia 8600GT with 1GB memory
OS: XP sp3
Graphic driver:180.74 Forceware by Nvidia

Tried re-install? Ive got pretty much same spec and mine works fine. Well, runs fine.

Yes reinstalled but same problem occurs.

Have you made sure you have all the newest updates from windows? www.windowsupdate.microsoft.com

I have sp3 installed but i didn't update xp regularly.

It's worth a try getting all the newest updates, you might be missing an update for .NET framework or something

When Rockstar socialclub install first it install .NET 3.5 then the game then Game for Windows Live.

I have one question
can i play it in my computer ?
( 3.0GHz Intel Pentium D
2GB RAM 533MHz DDR2
XFX GeForce 8600GT DDR2 1GB
17GB Free Disc space in the installation directory

Windows Xp Professional SP3)

If your cpu is dual core as stated in your first post then yes, if its just single core as stated in your last post, then nope it wont run unfortunately

Correct, and if you do have a dual core, the file system on your pc may be corrupted slightly, that's what causes most gaming errors
