I was riding around an NRG yesterday and found a ladder on a building in a parking lot area in Bohan. The parking area is located here on this snap map.

HERE

Once on top of the building, there are several building all connected with wooden ramps. It's almost as if it was designed so that you could ride a motorcycle around on the roof tops... but I can find no way of getting a bike up there with out cheating...

any one have any ideas?

It just seems like too much attention to detail was put up there, with out any thing like pigeons, weapons, armor, etc. I'm gonna have another look today when I get home from work.

It's probably not for bikes, but for people to walk from rooftop to rooftop without having to jump.

but it connects practically all of the buildings on that block... all of which are jumpable... why would they do that to these buildings specifically? I haven't found any other sets of building that are connected like these are...

also, there are some jumps, aimed OFF of the buildings...
Canadianbacon123
yea I just went there now. It weird, there's places to ride, but no way to get there with a bike, unless Niko can put one in his pocket...

I haven't looked at the snapmap (it probably wouldn't do any good) but were any of the buildings connected to a building from a mission where you chase someone across rooftops? I know there were multiple missions that involved jumping building to building, could this be part of one of those missions?

That's one of the first things I thought, but I do not recall a mission here...

I will check it out when I get home from work.

Do any of the buildings have roof access in which a motorcycle could be driven up multiple flights of stairs?

Either way, it could be a great location for some fantastic multiplayer snipage with the ability to move from building to building.
Canadianbacon123
There's no way a motorcycle can get up there unfortunately.

Observation points, exploring, looking for spawns on other roof tops.
There are quite a lot of pigeons up high in Bohan. Use sniper to scope it out.

If it is not a common landing point for unique stunts then it's not for riding,
but walking rooftop to rooftop as previously mentioned.

I don't think so, I checked most, if not all, of the door exits on the roof, but unfortunately none would open...

It's funny how people are posting on the forum while they're at work instead of actually working. That's dedication and commitment.

What i did was save the game in two slots, one with cheats the other without. If you have cheats you can just spawn a bike, and have lots of fun. It's even ideal for jumping off the skyscrapers without dying. Don't limit yourself, just cheat, its not real life just a game. I also feel that some of the rooftops were made specially for jumping off, like roof to roof, kinda like parkour, which is what i think its trying to do, i mean Niko even does a parkour roll when he lands a jump.

I should get an award.

I always look fucking busy, that's for sure.

You say they're all jumpable and that walking isn't a good reason for them to be there, but Rockstar weren't thinking "Hmm, can the player jump this gap?", I imagine it was somewhere along the lines of "if people needed to walk from roof to roof (not everyone will jump v.gif ) what would they use? what do we use?"

Zingggggg, wood.

But then I haven't been there so I don't know.
PabloHoneyOle
I checked out the area last night, it's nothing spectacular. The wood just connects different elevated buildings, it doesn't necessarily bridge any GIGANTIC gaps or anything, but it does look perfect for a sanchez or NRG9000. The trick would be getting one up there, it would have to either be spawned or jumped up there from another building or a ramp. Perhaps the elevated train tracks run by there?

Back behind the ramps are a series of ladders that allow you to get ontop of some other tall buildings.

Great sniper/hiding area.

I also checked all the multiple rooftop stairwells, they all blocked doorways, no access to stairs.

I do know a lot of times things woll look like they are set up for something, but it isnt. It might have been part of a mission that got scraped.

That's what I was thinking. That or a mission might turn up there in the DLC.
