Does forcing the ps3 into 1080p make the game look any better? or is it best to leave 720 checked also. I have a Toshiba regza 37" 1080p tv.

Its all about personal preference but if you have a 1080p tv then it would be safe to assume it will look best if you display it at 1080p as you are using more pixels in detail that way.i suppose it would be like playing a pc game these days on 1024*768 if your system can handle 1280*1024 if it was at a lower resolution

It should be better, I can't see why it wouldn't be, the only reason it comes in 720p is because most people have that, Pc games have had a choice of resolutions for years/always.

IMO when you force it to 1080P ( I have full 1080P HD TV ) it dose look cleaner. Not a lot but noticeable. I tried both modes looking at the same thing at the same time of day.

Its anoying that you have to set it as default though because when you play some other games you have to set it back.
