Executioner
Hi, I'm Executioner. Some of you know me as former moderator of www.GTAStunters.com (RIP) and former member of www.GTA-Four.net (RIP) too. I'm NOT trying to seek attention. I found something, and it MIGHT be the big secret everybody talks about. I don't want to get banned for this. Just give me your thoughts.

Ever wondered why 'Back O Beyond' in San Andreas is a place where ghost cars, fog, crashing planes, and cut down trees are all over the place? Ever taken a look closely at Back O Beyond?

I was investigating that place today. I took a lot of pictures, and the results shocked me.

If you look closely at all the walls on Back O Beyond, you can clearly see birds.. Lots and lots of birds...

Is there a possibility that this place is haunted by birds? I know you'll think that I'm crazy, but that is what I think's going on there. Birds we can't see.

I've taken a lot of pictures.

One of them
Lots and lots of birds
More (I've circled them)
And even more

I took a closer look at the ghost car. I recognized that it was attacked by the birds peak. Take a closer look.

Ghost car

Even more at Shady Creeks

I know you think I'm crazy, but that's my opinion. What do you guys think?

I mean, they kinda do look like owls but come on!
That a big secret...naaah!
Interesting though.
Qdeathstar
what would be the point. Birds? Seriously...
Executioner
Well it might be leading to something?

If not, then what is the big secret... I mean, it might be signs of what the big secret might be...

Pazzo =P I liked that.

I think it's pretty cool, actually.

Many of us overlook these types of things,
as developmental flaws covered up while building San Andreas.
Cracks, polygons, floating rocks, repetitive geometric patterns......
I am guilty of this, using AP tools, repeating patterns,
masking off certain structures and hiding flaws in my work.
The birds can appear to be repetitive use of a type of stamp tool.
Still your presentation really strikes the imagination.

Credit to you for your good work, and thanks for the images to back it up.

What do you think the birds lead to?
Those sure are large black birds in the desert skies, as well.

I've never believed in any one "Big Secret",
but I like how you mention the birds, as if clues to a higher order.

Interesting reference, the Alfred Hitchcock film "The Birds", when nature attacks mankind.
Filmed in Bodega Bay, California, the coast town sits north of San Francisco. (San Fierro)
There is nothing special about that, but the geography looks similar
to that of the coastline in San Andreas *leading* up to San Fierro.
(The shape of the map, the Badlands coastal routes)
Remember, SF is not directly across the bridge from Las Vegas territory,
not directly above Los Angeles, and much smaller, than real life.
So on many an occasion, exact replicas of the state have appeared,
in areas where they are not exactly located. This is very predominant,
especially in SF and LS. Just a thought on Bodega Bay and B.O.B.

The film also features attacks by birds on old vehicles resembling none other
than the damaged Glendales and Sadlers in San Andreas.
One of the Glendales resides at a gas station north of Verdant Meadows,
where the main fire occurs in the film. As does a Sadler in a Red County gas station.
The movie seems to focus on the fighting between the town's inhabitants,
and why the birds are really there. Fighting amongst each other,
for the big secret, pointing fingers, all in debate, rather than solution.
(Like the search for the GTASA big secret)

I know that R* personnel studied California and the San Andreas Fault
(Bodega Bay sits on it as well) extensively for their research into developing the game.

Strange energy, both in the game and real life.
So many kids obsessed over B.O.B. for dramatic reasons such as
Bigfoot (Which is just a reference to the Monster Truck) and
Leatherface, which is based on the chainsaw, cabin, and wheelchair.

Back O Beyond has plenty of mystery and clearly is a point of interest.

Then again, the birds could still just be....patterns, of no consequence.
Just thought to let you know your findings hold merit with some people.

Great post. smile.gif
Executioner
Atleast someone apreciated my hard work. Thanks a lot.

The birds was a film which took place in Bodega Bay.

QUOTE
The climax of the film comes as a seagull attack on the harbor-front results in a fire and more deaths. Melanie and Mitch's family ultimately take refuge in Mitch's house, where Mitch saves Melanie from birds who have broken into the attic. Lydia and Mitch bandage Melanie's wounds, but determine she must get to a hospital. In a surreal and apocalyptic scene, a sea of landed birds ripples menacingly around them as they leave the house, but does not attack. The car radio gives reports of several smaller attacks by birds in a few other communities in coastal California. The sea of birds parts as they slowly proceed toward the road and pick up speed. The film concludes with the sun rising as the four of them drive away from the farm, down the coast road and out of sight.

Back O Beyond is reffered to as Bodega Bay in real life.

Thanks for telling me about the film, Synch.

Holy Quacamole.
I was just reflecting, and making some possible references.
Had no idea that "Back O Beyond is reffered to as Bodega Bay in real life."

See how when explorers come together, we learn.

Thanks, and please see my Fort Carson thread here in Hints N finds.
Perhaps you will have some insight, and be able to make more
connections, with your birds.

Executioner
Well, atleast that's my opinion. I mean, Bodega Bay is in San Fransisco is real life so (Back O Beyond in San Fierro).

The hole is now a freshwater pond that provides habitat for birds.

Well done on the research, it's about time i saw a realy good well layed out topic explainnig the reasons behind points. I don't think its the big seceret as such, but it is suprising how we are still finding little things out even after GTAIV is out!

Imagine how long it will take us to find things in GTAIV?!!!?!!
Executioner
Let me buy a PS3 first, then buy GTAIV, then search.

That'll take a minimum of two years for me. >_>

Nice siggy by the way. =]

Not as long. GTA IV don't have countryside or desert. So will probably have less myth referances...

I don't know what too think...

I certainly don't think there is one big mystery or a conspiracy regarding 'Back O Beyond'. That is personal opinion mind you. I think it is just a lot of 'Easter Eggs' heavily concentrated in one place. Food for thought.
