heres the final result notice how nicely he is blended in

step 1. get your bg ready that you ant to put the render in

step 2.paste your image into the picture

step 3.set the layer with the renders opacity to 90

step 4.using the lasso tool user posted image
enclose it around the render stay as close to the render as possible

step 5. press ctrl+shift+i to inverse the selection
user posted image

step 6. go to select>feather and use something like 5

step 7. press delete then press ctrl+d

Alternatively CTRL+Click the render layer and go to
Selction -> Feather -> 5px -> OK
