Hi there
I own an xbox copy as well as the PC copy. Can you not go into Mitch Baker's bar? I took these from the xbox copy.

from the wiki:
QUOTE The interior of the bar is not accessible to the player except through modifications, cheats, and glitches. Despite this, the inside is quite detailed; the walls are covered with license plates, stickers, and flags. There are also several pinball machines, a few pool tables, a jukebox, and a stage with musical instruments on it. I assume you glitched in? -------------------- |

I just headed the player into the wall area, and went through. So only through a mod for the PC version you can walk in.

Ah, memories. I know there's a way (most likely through blue hell) to get to the actual interior, I remember getting in there.

Where can I get into blue hell? I can only think of once going into the vercetti mansion and walking around the underworld.

The only way I remember for sure is wedging yourself in between a lamp and the ceiling in apartment 3-C (the Scarface apartment), then jumping through, which brings you into a sort of "ghost world" that you can walk around in. I think you still have to glitch your way into the bar from there, but it opens up the interior.
Another way I only remember vaguely is through the underside of a gap in front of one of the buildings on the first island, near the Malibu. You have to fly a helicopter under it, then fly straight up, which will glitch you into the building. From there, you can drop back down below the map and fly from there. This method is much harder because you have to maintain a certain elevation below the map, too high or too low and you'll end up back above ground, and that's if you can get through the building in the first place; I blew up a dozen helicopters the first time I tried it. I'd help more if I could, but my PS2 died years ago; I haven't played Vice City since 2004. -------------------- Massacre, you make me look like a rational, moral, kind person. So the first attempt may be the easiest one.
I don't own a PS2 copy but I doubt it matters that much. What do you think caused your PS2 to stop working? I've own my current one since the replacement since September 2002. There is some ratteling inside when the disc spins, especially the San Andreas one. My memory card is nearly ten years old(December 2001), I recently bought a new one on Amazon for £5. Good deal. I don't want to lose my handful of games saves. My xbox, I purchased second hand with a broken disc tray from a second hand electronics shop without a controller(which is good, Hygiene reasons), so you have to hit it gently to open it. That was now three and a half years back, and the console is still working. I'm uncertain how to determine when that console was out in the shops. May be the previous owner dropped it...that is why the disc tray doesn't open as soon as you press eject. Problem is now, with HD tvs these consoles are for the old Televisions, the cathoray tube ones. So they aren't that great without a HD wire, if you can get one or if it even works. -------------------- President lamar's attack on the cherokee Indian tribe in Texas in 1839 was a stupid mistake, but distrust and violence existed on both sides. I have no idea what the problem is, it started rattling like yours (also like yours, it rattled especially hard when playing San Andreas), but mine continued to rattle harder as time went on, and I guess it just rattled itself to death.
I can still play San Andreas on my 360, but it won't play GTA III or Vice City. -------------------- Massacre, you make me look like a rational, moral, kind person. Hey there
I managed to get into the bar through the Apartment 30 underworld. If you fly through the open water parts you can avoid the buildings in the way.

Worth the effort, wasn't it? I was thrilled the first time I managed to get in there. Thanks for the pics, it brought back some memories.

I suppose.
Probably would of been better had it really been opened a bit like the cuban cafe. -------------------- President lamar's attack on the cherokee Indian tribe in Texas in 1839 was a stupid mistake, but distrust and violence existed on both sides.
