This will only turn into a fanboy war later...
Here's a graphic comparison The only people that can give a good opinion on gameplay are people who have played both. I can only assume they are equal.

I would also imagine the player controls for either console are similar. I like the new controller of the 360 in comparison to the original xbox's one.
