"WARNING: Excessive exposure to violent video games and other violent media has been linked to aggressive behavior."

GamePoitics.com

I know this is old, but it's back yet again. My opinion is that if playing a video game can turn you aggressive, there's something already not right upstairs.

Do they really think that shooting pretend people is going to make you more likely to shout and break plates during arguments, or heaven forbid, actually imitate the games? These arguments have been repeated ad nauseum, but people can tell the difference between pretend violence and real violence, pretend violence wont make anyone less empathetic, and nobody is going to do anything violent based on video games alone, by blaming video games or Marlyn Manson we're ignoring the much bigger problems behind things like columbine: teen isolation, bullying, poverty etc.
