Reading through this topic is making me want to pull the game out and play it. I have it on the PS2, and it's still one of the best games for that platform. Free roaming is the best thing in any game - games that make you go linear just piss me off (except the RE series, which for some reason still kicks ass).

But hands down, SA is one of the best games ever made. I have to go home and play now...

San Andreas is the best game on the PS2 and original Xbox. Period.
