That reminds me. A while back, i read that the 2nd Control Denied album ("When Machine And Man Collide", not "Chemo Denied" as some have called it) will receive an official release sometime soon (2009/10). Chuck's mother has set up a donations page or something, as it will be self-funded.

^Lucky you. Oz only gets Megadeth with Slayer. I would much rather have them headlining on their own.

Also, you miss out on Machine Head. Double win.

New Vader is solid. Despite the line up changes, it still sounds like Vader. Last I heard the record label was fucking around with the 2nd control denied album. I've also heard James Murphy was being lined up to do Chuck's guitar parts.

I know right? Fuck Machine Head. I'm still bummed I have to see Suicide Silence. At least Machine Head has SOME talent. Not much though. Never heard of Warbringer though.

Chuck did, and I think they'd actually done the first stages of recording before he died. I have no problem with the other Control Denied members finishing Chuck's final work. If they released a 3rd, Chuck free album, I wouldn't be so thrilled.

I finally got my hands on "Blood Oath", Suffocation's latest album. It's pretty awesome. Mike Smith is a machine.

Yay for Megadeth. Endgame entered the Aussie album charts at 11, ahead of all of the remastered Beatles albums.
Btw, Muse debuted at 1, whilst Porcupine Tree debuted at 35. pfft. PT>Muse in every way.

Fuck yeah man. Suffocation is one of my favorite bands. I got Blood Oath a few weeks ago. I love it all. My favorite thing about the band is that they never use the same riff twice in a song.

While the new album kicks ass, nothing will ever beat Effigy. Such a masterpiece.

Been listening to Dying Fetus all morning. Definitely a killer band. I love the drums.

Oh yeah, me and my friends decided to take a road trip to see Decrepit Birth. I don't remember where it was to though hahahaha... It should be fun though.

Dying Fetus. Oh, Dying Fetus. Such talent.

Doesn't seem like the kind of music I'd be into, but it's so damn good. That album, Destroy The Opposition, is so fucking great.

Edit: This song is amazing too

What a world. Endgame debuted at 9 on the billboard album charts with 45,000 albums sold. Not bad, until you consider UA sold 54,000 in its first week, and The System has failed sold 46,000. And even more crazy, The World Needs A Hero sold 61,000 in its first week. Not enough promotion, imo.

Darn it, Sexy. You get Kreator, and all i get is a 15 hour dust storm. Did they play "riot of violence"?

And Mortal Sin are pretty good. Speaking of Aussie bands, Glen Drover has a guest spot on the next Lord album.

No, they did not play Riot of Violence. Ventor is sitting the tour out, so it seems silly to play the song he sings when he isn't there. They also didn't play People of the Lie or Impossible Brutality. Aside from that, very good show.

How are you, Handsome? Rarely see you any more.

I'm fine, thanks. 2 jobs dictate that i can't use the interweb much these days, although i have been on here a bit more often of late.

lol, i had a choice between a hot chick in my avatar, or a Darth Halford avatar i created. Halford wins.

Of course Halford wins. Also, whilst not metal, I can recommend the Macho Man Randy Savage's rap album to every. It's so bad, yet so good.
