A few months ago I was messing around with some tools for the PC version of GTA4 and ripped some audio from the game, mainly of Niko speaking. I remember the video before the game came out showing Niko's story, and I liked the music with his voice over the top, so I tried to make something similar...
It's a pretty rough cut, however I don't really expect I'll work on it again so I thought I might as well release it to you lot to see what you think. The music is "Now We Are Free" by Enya and Hans Zimmer (from the Gladiator soundtrack). Download it below by either right clicking and saving as, or just click on it and it'll play in your browser if you have the right plugins installed. Niko's Story - By Psy [4 MB] [MP3] I'd appreciate any feedback you have, although as I said, I have no intention of working on it any more. Perhaps I'll do something similar in the future though. --------------------   |

Dude....."Now We Are Free"..... One of the best songs on the face of the planet.
I love orchestral/ambient music like that......AWESOME...... Hanz Zimmer is the man.... I know a bunch more good stuff similiar to that. (if you're interested...) To be honest though....After seeing Gladiator.....(and thinking about Niko)... Most of it doesn't do justice.....it get's better around the part where Niko says, "You killed my friends for 1,000 dollars?" Good effort, though!  |

I've got loads of soundtracks by Hans Zimmer. Awesome stuff. Pirates of the Caribbean, Black Hawk Down etc.
