I'm sure this has been mentioned, but after a 100% completion save,
I noticed many GTA:IV exterior spawns still exist for the DLC: The Lost and Damned.
May not be necessary to have completed GTA:IV 100%, that's just where I am.

Comes in handy for the RPG, AK-47/M4, SMG, Grenades, Combat Sniper, Shotguns, and Combat Pistol.
While there are new weapons, and new spawns, it was nice to see some old ones still there.

The club house is basically right by the "Derrick Armor" as I called it, and that's what
got me looking for the old spawns. If you remember Derrick's missions from the park
in GTA:IV, the cop cars near by, and that street, an armor spawn is just over the fence.
That's what got me looking, and once I found that same armor spawn, I started looking.

While many of the regular GTA:IV interiors are now closed, many exterior spawns
are still available to use in the DLC. From armor and health, to weapons and ammo.

Once I found all "my stuff", I started a new TLAD game, proper.
Hope you guys have found this as well as new spawns as well.
Cheers.

Wait, interiors are closed off in TLAD? That seems a bit unnecessary.

Anyway for regular IV I always use the rocket launcher spawn on the sunken container ship to the west of Alderney. And the MP5 in Schottler, somewhere in the alleyway where you take Jacob on the Jamaican Heat mission, comes in handy early in the game.

I said many interiors dude, not all. smile.gif

Just like from GTA:III to LCS, or Vice City to VCS.
Some are open as before, some new ones are available, and some old ones are closed.

The Lost clubhouse was not open in GTA:IV.....and the gas factory in South Bohan was.
One of my favorite spawns is that factory, because regardless if you like AK-47, or M4,
they both spawned there. Double ammo, nice. You will remember it as the place where
Roman was kidnapped and taken to. I just used it always for spawns.
The AK-47 spawns up on a ladder outside, while the M4 was inside, now locked.

I also use your SMG point, it is behind where Jacob parked his drug delivery vehicles.
In the alley there is one I use, on the airport carpark roof, and the roof across the street
from the back of the old Niko Bohan safe house. If you remember the mission for Manny
to clear out that warehouse, the SMG is on top of that roof. It seems like all the exterior
weapons spawns are still there. The grenades, the Combat Pistols, Snipers and Shotguns.

It's very cool but I am still taking my time with the game, still kind of tricky.
Just exploring and seeing all the little differences.....just grab a helicopter and explore!

Also love the "grain" film like effect. Makes it look really cool.
