As you probably all know, earlier on this week, Rockstar Games flew myself and the other big GTA fansite webmasters (Chris from TheGTAPlace, Adam, Jevon and Blair from GTA4.net, Kyle and Casey from GTAGaming and Gerald from GTAWH.com) to New York City to preview The Lost And Damned. While I was out there, I kept a sort of mini-blog which I've now posted on the website. It's slightly different to last years trip which I wrote after I got back. This time the content was actually written not long after the events happened. As you can imagine I had an amazing time, but to find all about it, read my write-up!

wow that does sound amazing, i mean actually mindblowing about the whole trip. i bet the kinder surprise was missing when you left haha. and thats one hell of a goodie bag from rockstar that any boy would die for haha (i know i would). thats what i wanna be doing in a few years hopefully

What would happen if your new Elite got the RROD? Those cheap bastards at Microsoft would probably send you a letter saying that it could not be fixed, but you can have a refurbished one. Haha
By the way I can't wait to hear about the secret. I fucking hate secrets, but at least I know that I will find out. I just hope you post it has news on the front page so I won't miss it.  |

Psy did you manage to ask about Manhunt 2 on PS3/360? or L&D on PS3?
It sucks if I need to go and get another console just for the 2 GTA titles alone. I bought a Wii and PS3 as it is. I am a huge fan of GTA and Manhunt and have never understood why the guys at Project Manhunt never got the kind of attention the GTA sites do, any idea?  |

It's because Manhunt never got the kind of attention GTA does.

Yeah maybe, but in some ways it seems to be you would want to expose that game more since less know about it if you know what I mean. I think those guys do a good job, there was a period of years where they kept the community of Manhunt together better than Rockstar did.

Money from the expansion, money from the people who've bought a 360 for the expansion, money from people who've bought the original GTA IV on the 360 for the expansion, money from extra games sales from people who've bought the console for the expansion... it just goes on. And don't forget there's going to be a second pack like this, probably within the year. They might not make $50 million out of Marketplace downloads alone but altogether they probably will. Don't become a total whore for them by going all-rockstar all the time. that'd be a ton of free publicity just for getting some free gifts and shit. cool that you got that stuff, and a plane ticket and what not, but don't let them take advantage of you. they can afford it, so if they want a lot of extra publicity, let them pay for it. you already do enough as it is.
