I think it is way more fun, more exciting, and overall grand.
It was worth my $60. I beat it in about 9 hrs. It had a very good story,
Very much improved graphics from the last game. The AI seemed more intellegent,
and it was a little more fun. The weapons remained about the same except a few new ones that were really fun to mess around with. And the ending was fantastic. I'm not spoiling it, but i wish what you get do do at the end, you could do in the whole game.
It is not at all repeatative. The only problem i have is that the enemy pretty much only aims for you instead of your team. (kinda bugs me when i'm trying to flank the enemy. But the new version of the auger is much more fun to use.

Reply and tell me what you think of R2

Nice to see you back Bio biggrin.gif
How was your health in the game? In the beta it was incredibly easy to die, and I just hated that. Is it about the same as the first?

yea i havent been on much. i've been workin alot. thnx for the wb!

well its a little better than the first one. On the first one it had the health meter.
This time around it doesnt. It just regenerates like on cod4.
It depends what difficulty your on for how easy it is for you to die. I did it on casual just to get thru the story and see what the game had to offer, and that was a blast. Lots of sniping parts, explosions, and the whole enchalata! They planned this game out very well. It has some neat and funny trophies to earn too.

Exploding the enemy with a grenade orthe laark is sweet. if there are any near by walls when you kill an enemy with an explosive, they explode into pieces, then their body parts hit the wall and slide down it was a cool little feature i really liked.

This has nothing on GoW 2 imo.

Everyone got it right. You're fucking retarded and you'll be lucky to live to 18. If you do, you'll probably spend the majority of your adulthood bouncing in and out of correction facilities all over Florida getting raped by the African Nation.

meh... i don't care for gears of war to much. i think they over use the bump map way to much. it has some good gameplay but it gets repeatetive to me.

who cares? completely unnecessary post, are you trying to turn this into a game vs game thread?, besides one is a FPS and the other is a TPS

i think it's even easier now ....
but it's something i got used to quick enough.
I've gotten like 2 hours into the Campaign and it's been great so far, and Co-Op is way better than it was in the beta, and overall i think it was a great investment for my $80 (Collector's Edition biggrin.gif )

Harrop, stay on topic next time or I will kill you.

I thought Resistance 2 was awesome (just got it 3 days ago), the big set pieces suit this game very well in my opinion. The difference with the health regeneration I actually found a bit more difficult then the first game, but eh that's just me. A little disappointing I couldn't do split screen with friends that come over. >:(

Really?? I thought it was WAY easier. Just find some cover and you're fully healed, unlike the first where you were screwed if you got too low.

You can.. biggrin.gif
On the main menu (or somewhere) at the bottom it says {Start} | Resistance 2 Sign-on
That means you hit start on a controller and it'll sign them in for co-op.

I mean doing split screen Player campaign, or do you mean the campaign? We tried an it wasn't working, so if it is possible that will be awesome.

You go to cooperative, then offline game.

I think it is amazing so far. I haven't had the chance to play it online yet, but it is great offline.

The story is pretty engrossing, and the battles are epic.

Dude.. I 100% agree.. But you must play online co-op. It's truly epic. Fucking insanity. DO IT NOW!

I didn't expect much from online but it's 700000 times better than online in FoM.
