Looks like we now know the name for the in-game search engine Niko will use.
If you look right behind the LCPD kiosk in Star Junction you'll see an ad for EyeFind.info  In real life behind the NYPD kiosk in Times Square there is an ad for Yahoo.  This leads me to believe that EyeFind would be the GTA IV equivalent of Yahoo. Further supporting this is the fact the EyeFind.info is currently displaying a generic Network Solutions page, just like Weazel News used to. Perhaps it'll be included in the next official site update. I wonder if they'll incorporate the actual WWW in the game?
I don't see how they could put enough content in to make a search engine necessary? But who knows. --------------------   |

In theory it shouldn't be that difficult if you're on XBL as that's connected so technically all they would need is an in-game browser which they obviously have so maybe we could see it happening, although in one review I read that the Rockstar* staff had asked the press not to jot down any of the in-game website names as they were currently under construction and might not appear in the final game...so maybe it's just a few "piss take" site's we can look at. It'll be much bigger than that I'm sure, but they did already say that it won't have anything to do with the real life internet. so you can't connect to the real net. -------------------- On my Signal,..., Unleash Hell !  |
