 Coldfire88 (or Coldfirez) submitted this video displaying the eerily resemblance of Vladmir Mashkov to the likeness of Niko Bellic. Yeah, this is pretty much old news to the veteran commuters, but this video is edited (from the movie, Behind Enemy Lines) to fit the second trailer's audio. I personally got a kick out of this and hopefully all of you will too. I wonder if Vladmir Mashkov did some modelling for Rockstar, he does look strikingly similar. Gotta love those Simpsons - GTA spoofs.

I loved the part in the movie where the part in the song "something dingle ling" and Vladimir has his sniper rifle on his back walking down the road then he has the 2 pistols and shootin'. Epic.

Cool, but Niko's based on one of those immigrant street workers from an independent film I saw one day. The main character's name is Niko and everything. I'd be surprised if it wasn't that short film that inspired this new gta.
Sorry can't remember the film's name, but it's some indipendent film/documentary type of thing about day laborers who stand out in the cold waiting to do odd jobs. damn I wish I could remember its name.  |
