If so, what do you do?

Personally, I jog. Usually between 5 (on a bad week) and 15 (on a good week) miles.

Also, I have an exercise bike I use sometimes too. I usually do no more than 500 calories at a time now considering the other exercise I do, and plus, it hurts my tailbone after a while.

Also, I do a lot of pushups and crunches(different variations of each).

Situps sometimes. Also, this exercise machine that is good for the upper body esepecially biceps and shoulders.

I have started this week doing exercises out of a book that require no gear.

A lot of leg lifting and body movement that is a full body workout in addition to the other stuff.

I try to do chin ups and stuff but I really have nowhere other than the beams in my garage to do it, and that is shit.

I don't lift weights. The only thign I started doing is curles with 35 pounds and upward presses while standing.

Some other stuff once in a while too.

I have just been interested in exercise stuff a lot the last year getting in better shape.

I run the blue poles in the dunes here, which are about 5 kilometres. When I'm feeling good I might even do 3 rounds. Running on the street is bad for your knees is what I've been told. I march a lot now. Sometimes for more than 5 hours. I do 3 variations of push ups. Ending which the heaviest. I do pull ups (chin ups?) on my stairs. Training my back, because that's important.

I went for one motherfucking long walk yesterday. I left at about 1:00pm and didn't get back until something like midnight. It started out originally as a short stroll to clear my head then it kinda developed into a marathon walk. It was relaxing, don't get me wrong, but when I got home - Hell, my feet were red and blistered.

I hate body building aswell, don't get me wrong. But this is just about getting stronger, I don't want to pumped up muscles, because they're useless anyway.

I do.

I usually jog home from work (as its basically just around the corner) and I've just started going to the gym, I'm going tomorrow actually. Before that though I just did things like situps, pushups and dead weights, now my friend who is studying to become a personal trainer has written me up a full program, and I'm eating lots of protein, carbs etc.

I also play basketball every Sunday night, used to be more often, but over the last month or so work has hampered that, so yeah, its a shame, but I have to pay the bills.

I bench press kg 21 60x
bicep curl 26kg 80x
Clean and press 2.2kg 80x, 4.8kg 100x and 9kg 120x as a warm up and warm down
Do 200 sit ups
And clean and press 21kg 20x

That is everyday

Also at the weekend I walked 50Km over 3 days with a 20Kg pack, but I don't normally do that.

Well I certainly do! I exercise every morning before I go to school. I usually do the pushups, situps and some other stuff, I also go for a jog when I return from school. Oh, and I play tennis a couple of times a week, but I don't feel that I'm physically active enough, I would do more sports if I hadn't have to go to school! biggrin.gif

I tried it, but its too hard when you dont have the equipment/cant afford it. So i kinda gave up. Besides, i did try simple methods for 6 months ages ago, and after all of that, i had barely any muscles to show for it, so that kinda discouraged me.

I work out 3 times a week......I'm also one of those hard gainers =/ though I do feel that the working out is actually well.......working

My workouts consist of:

Biceps: 3 sets of 20 (40 pounds)
Tricepts: 3 sets of 15 (20 pounds)
Shoulders: 3 sets of 20 (5 and a 1/2 pounds)
Wrists/Forearms: 2 sets of 40 and 1 set of 50 (40 pounds)

Trust me the workout is needed

I am going to use my gym membership more this year, I'm living about 5 minutes away from the gym so I have no excuse. I cycle to work, via a short trip on a train. Not much else really - I don't really care if I have massive muscles, I just want to be in good shape.

I also do Tae Kwon Do, and I'm trying to keep my weight down to 75kg (~165lb) so I'm at the top of a lighter weight category rather than at the bottom of a heavier one (if I'm heaviest I'm probably the tallest, which means I probably have longer legs, that means I have longer range, so short-arses can't kick me)

Everyday, for about 45 minutes. I bench around 200 pounds, I curl around 80 pounds, and do about 240 crunches, in addition to other light work outs, like pull ups and push ups.

Good to see you back around there parts Mr. Nice.

For those who dont know, apparentley bench press actually does very little if anything at all for muscle development.

Also Maig, you probally didnt see any results as you might not've been doing the excercises correctly, or you may not have been eating the right foods while doing so (which is important).
